Crafters have no right to get their own Chocobos

BTW, it's not a 'battle' chocobo, it's the fact that it can be summoned at will which is the important issue here, don't use the adjective 'battle' to try to support your argument for making DoH/L second-class classes.

Lets not let the topic degenerate back to what it was 24 hours ago by ignoring previous points made please. DoH get their materia, DoM/W get their premium chocobos. Both get basic chocobos.

this is completely crap, you do realize personally chocobo need 3k seal to get right ? the "MUST" archive r25 to get personally chocobo are totaly crap talk, and to other player who say r25 is easy like if you cna get chocob at that rank

with the curent seal to get the god damn personaly bird you need to be r45 beause r25 and the event only give 2750 seal out of 3k (for ppl come late w/o 1k seal from event, they only get 1750/3000...GJ SE)

if there are daily quest to get seal at 1.19 , I dont know but with the current system, the craft will have to r up to r45 DoW or DoM.

note: as someone mention before that DoH need a DoW and DoM to hunt shards and rare item ? the answer is a not really, in my case, my LS gladly to give me their shards to help me craft at the begin of the game (R1) until i got decent shards in stock and they gladly to help me hunt stuff as well, so not a big deal. I do have DoW and DoM class simply because I want to wear the gear/armor I craft to look good <---- I love fashion

Note: remove the DoH and DoL out of the character creation if you dont want ppl to make a big fuss and swear at you when the game goes live because they ll realize that you let them choose to be DoH and DoL but dont give a crap about their standing in this game

First of all:
Lay off the caffeine. And the raging.

A rank 25 DoW/M, on October 3rd, can have 2,750 Seals.
On October 4th, they will gain access to two unlimited sources of seals:
--Grand Company Levequests (based on existing leve reset timer)
--Caravan Escorts (based on existing behest timer)

I don't see it taking very long at all to earn 250 seals, based on how readily the sources will be available on the very same day that Chocobos are implemented.

Thats why I added the details about both of the (now confirmed) repeatable seal sources, because you said you didn't know. And to make another point, they already confirmed that this new seal earning content is catered to lvl 25 people only for now. Upper-level players will have to wait for more potent sources of seals.

If leve timer system is exactly the same as 1.19 leves at adventurer's guild, you can do 8 every 24 hours.

If escort timer system is exactly the same as behest, you can do 3 to 4 an hour.

Let's review--

Major new content implemented in v1.19: Materia and Chocobos

DoH exclusive players do not have immediate access to premier Chocobo content, they must work 1 DoW/M class to R25. (Or bribe another battlecraft to power-level them to r25)

DoM/M exclusive players do not have immediate access to premier Materia content, they must work 1 DoH class to R18. (Or bribe another crafter to do it for them)

DoL exclusive players gain exclusive access to Materia catalysts, supplying crafters for a tidy profit.

Is it me, or did SE create an all-round timesink-o-fairness here?

Don't forget DoL get the Stealth abilitities.

And getting a DoW/DoM class to 25 is not hard at all and it really doesn't take too long.
Of course there was going to be a requirement to get a chocobo and it's a very simple and easy one imo. Until then you can use a rental chocobo.

I'd like to use the Stealth ability but I gotta earn it by leveling a DoL and I'm okay with that. I'm not gonna whine and be like "But DoW/DoM desearve that ability too!"

They already stated DoH/DoL are taking a backseat to the DoM/DoM. It's bad enough you can play a tile matching game to advance through the main story line lol

I'm not trying to say "You don't desearve one!" I'm just saying if you want something you gotta earn it by meeting a requirement and in this case, it's a pretty simple one imo. And again, there are rentals everyone can use in the meantime for a mere 800 Gil...
