Why would she even mention anything about the weapon? If you look at the cutscenes, the WoL was only summoned by the Sultana. Prior to the meeting with her, you had to go through the handmaiden of whom may have asked you to leave your weapon behind for whatever reason such as for security purposes. Nanamo would probably not even notice that your weapon was missing since she has a lot going through her mind.Quote:

1.0 had more agency with our characters actions, our fights would lead up from story cutscenes rather than Cutscene, cutscene, talk to NPC to to instanced dungeon. -

Look, FFXIV is entertaining, but the story is dumb as hell and full of plot holes. It's fine, whatever, if I played this game solely for the storyline I'd be dumber than the story itself. I don't understand why some of you get so riled up when people point out the obvious. It's like an action movie, full of dramatic custscene that don't make any sense when you think about them, but they're not made to make you think, they just need to entertain you and they do their job alright. -

Let's face it, after the whole 'it's not what it looks like!' scene, does the WoL really think a fair trial awaits him/her in a city that is known to be rotten to the core? More so when one of its leaders is calling you guilty from the off without having of even seen an empty vial, or at least first suspecting the person that poured the wine in the first place.
