OMG THIS ^ why can't we have another two crosses accessible by clicking both the L2 and R2 buttons...?
I would like to see marks drop immediately once target's dead. The corpse can linger for a bit but I use a targeting macro that should work awesomely to go through the targets and land on the lowest number (highest priority).

If targets are marked, targeting jumps from 3 to 2 and stops on 1.
A problem occurs when you kill the first target and it is lying there dead still marked with #1. The macro jumps thru the targets, but instead of stopping on 2, lands on the untargetable dead body marked 1, and drops target completely... You have to wait ~2 seconds for the body to dissappear and the mark to drop.
So can it be made so that when a mob health = 0 the mark just drops?
Couple of things I desperately want to see,
1. a button in my inventory to auto sort it any time I want the inventory to auto sort. I know its kinda my anal retentiveness but man I hate my inventory being all discombobulated and messy.
2. the option to make a macro to <STPC>, <STNPC> makes being a healer or caster much easier and you have many other place markers why not add those in. I know there is a mouse over marker but i like these.
3. show comparisons to the "minor stats" on gear when your looking at the tool tip, yes defense and magic defense is important but I want to know how my other stats are compared on gear instead of just def. and m def.
4. allow us to auto sort our armory, color code our gear so there is a Blue boarder around DoM or DoW gear and allow us to place sort restrictions on them like level, class grouping. so that way I know by looking at the border which gear I even need to hover over to check to make sure my job I am now level needs to look at that gear. will help with those of us who have leveling ADD and dont just focus on one class at a time.
5. is a cosmetic annoyance, my legacy status is tied to my account, I made a new character due to log in restrictions on a non legacy server to play with my friends. I get a legacy chocobo on that character but I cant have a legacy tattoo. Legacy is tied to my account, I survived the meteor and stuck with yall let all my characters show that its not like it does anything stat wise.
6. more clearly defined info on success rates for crafting, for the 70% chance to increase my quality or 90% chance to increase my progress when crafting items I sure seem to fail a lot. is this just cause I am super unlucky and am running statistically low or are my crafting attempts affected by the condition of the item or the level of the craft? also there is nothing that really tells you what the item condition actually does, I feel I figured it out but would have been nice to have some in game info on it.
7. grammatical issue, partly I find this funny partly I find this sad the localization team didn't get this. every time a NPC uses Anyway they say anyroad. I can understand the translation error but that's kinda a big difference. Just for example I know serendipity with the goldsmiths quests says this at least once in quest dialog.
8. dismounting a chocobo, please give me a one button or two button command to dismount a chocobo, and when I am going into a city don't give me a pop up box asking if I want to go in and have to dismount my chocobo just force dismount me and let me in, if I didn't mean to then I every accurately misran right into the city and can just walk out when I come back to my PC.
9. quests, allow me to do my quest fights with my friends in a party, scale the quest fights based on the number of people in my party but I find it silly me and my friends are questing together to do the main story line or I want to do a class quest and I have to drop out of party just to be able to do the same quest they are doing.
not sure if this was mentioned but it would be nice to set a limit to the amount of PC players are displayed on screen at a time. Even a pet/companion/minion limit. This way slower computers or areas like popular fates can load faster. This would also help with the NPC's for FATE's not displaying. When i want to solo FATES i can set the limit real low so i only see the targets rather than the 300 other people killing the mob(s). Maybe make it so dead people don't apply so they can be seen for a raise.
It gets pretty crazy walking in town and nothing loads because too many people/pets/companions/minions are in an area and you have to stand there waiting for everything to load.
A toggle to display others minions/pets/companions would be nice.
Game Time Cards for NA players
What if people don't have credit cards nor want to use one,don't think it is right for some countries to have them but not others...if i knew this i would not even have bought this game.Way to stick it to NA gamers SE
I completely agree. Using a gamepad, I have 3 sets reserved for incombat mode regardless of DOW/DOM, it fits perfectly for jobs like monk with 3 tiers in a combo. I then have 3 sets reserved for out of combat that includes all classes/jobs switching and misc commands etc. I would never need a solo v party set. My class is my solo set and my job is my party set already... I wouldn't want to mess around with the order or placement of my bars because otherwise it will become clumsy during moments of pressure where I would accidently throw a nuke because my solo set had cure in its place.
What SE need to focus on is adding to the list of functions that can be macro'ed. For example the old <st> targeting mode, adding a dedicated <focus> targeting method for gamepads (at the moment using a macro to do this but it takes up a slot on my crossbar ;x) and macroing pet commands.
Also I really hate the way the petbar is accessible on gamepad. I would rather it be accessed with pressing L2 and R2 together.
I want my personal debuffs on the target to be easier to see. Maybe 50% bigger and always put it furthest to the left.
Also pets to be automatically passive when travelling on a mount. That little bastard is always eager to despawn! D:

Can you make it so that /visor removes or adds the lower half of the Wizard's and Sorcerer's Petasos? It looks really weird and quite displeasing without the robe itself, but i enjoy the rest of the hat though.
Please allow FATE instructions to be displayed even when we toggle off "Display Duty List". Or at least, make the Level Sync button still displayable. I like to keep my Duty List hidden to see more of the screen and not be told what to do in quests, but it's a true hinderance when I try to join a FATE that is under my level.
Materia Removal
I had Red coral earrings, with +3 materias melded in. Then I made mistake and placed 4th materia in which had no effect.
I wanted to remove this materia and went to Bon Fire to goblin npc, to materia removal. However it did not remove the last (materia without effect). It discarded all previous materias as well..
Could devs look into this ? I lost all materias because of this mistake.
Please make it possible to view FATE progression on the map when you scroll over the FATE.
If you are running and casting an instant spell on a target, don't force my character to turn into the direction of that person. If I am running out of an AoE, and there is a person behind me that I have to heal, I will get turned around back into the AoE unless I stop running to heal.
In any MMO I have played, you can cast spells without having to look directly at them.
Please make a quest where we can obtain an animal that is not a chocobo and it just follows you and holds your items and is not a companian or a pet and does not take a party slot, does nothing but storage your items because 4 slots are nowhere near enough to hold all the gathering classes items and crafting classes items.
Please have three different quest givers 1 for each city-states that give a different animal, Ul'dah is a double hump camel, New Gridania is a ziz like creature, Limsa Lominsa is a giant crab like creature.

On our server, Gilgamesh, our fc Driftwood Coast, is becoming very popular. We try to welcome everyone who are interested in RP or talk about wanting to RP with us. But the paltry LS limit is stupid and needs to be removed or at least made larger.
We are having to resort to remove alts and those who haven't played in so many days, and we do not like doing so. This ruins the community of awesome people!
And this even goes for non RPers. Having small numbers keeps people away from meeting others in a LS since all are separated and can't talk with each other.
Im pissed at the fact that the dotting class in this game cant place dots in fates like behemoth or odin... How the hell are we suppose to get contribution when we cant use our main dps spells. This is freaking retarded. Something gotta be done ASAP. Either Summoner Dots have priority over weaker class dots or the # of dots on a mob can be infinite. I swear to god, the ppl at SE gotta be retarded. "You can play a pet class, that does not depend on the pet but on dots, but guess what, you cant use those if everyone is spamming their weak ass dots, so you are totally freaking useless in a fate boss, unless you spam your dots in hopes of 1 sticking". Meh...

how about some more hairstyles in general? Roegadyn and Highlanders really got shafted in the hair department.

There's a difference between spending 3 days on making one hair-type fit a hat, or choosing to simply hide the obstructive part of the model and finalizing the graphics within an hour.
1.23 is testament to the developers spending too much time fussing on smaller details, affecting the time-frame they had to work on the grander scheme of things.
It's a problem I face too in my work, where I have to sacrifice detail in order to achieve the most productive route.
Hair is not a quality of life thing, please stay on topic
A small random thing I'd wish is for in linkshell and social lists the "Move online players to top" would be enabled by default.
SE made a very smart choice prioritizing hair clipping before any of the other issues guys. This will definitely get more players to continue subscribing. Screw the current latency issues, RMTs, hacked accounts, or leechers.

About the fairy "Place" command. Could it be made so that when pushed, she returns to where I previously placed her on her own, instead of sitting there? It's quite grating to see her off the arena wasting buffs every time Titan does a landslide in her direction.

The thing is though, the team is correct in that a hairstyle with lots of bangs or forward depth would have the hair most likely pinned or wrapped somewhere underneath the hat. This is just the way people wear hats.
Point being that at the moment, most female hair styles are for correct. And there's not many long haired male styles to really worry about.
Ultimately, as long as there are no significant glitches, then this is trivial at best and seems like an awful waste of time and allocated resources for something that let's face it, isn't noticeable - do you really stop and look at other people's hair? How often do you see the front of your face and think 'oh why isn't my third bang braid not hanging out of my hat?'

I dont understand why they can change the details of how the hair falls under head gear on characters but they cant change back the legs, and behind area of the female miqote? So odd.
+1 on all of the things mentioned, I'm assuming most of them will be implented eventually.
I wish you could use the arrow keys normally for navigating through menus, e.g. if you're in your inventory or the main menu, left/right shouldn't mess with the camera, it should move between options. I hate having to anchor it to Shift+up/down/left/right just to move through a menu.
