All I can say I think adding chainsaw was a mistake and made the Job a lot less fun to play. Whether you feel it's a bad or good identity I feel it's fair to say that the signature skill of ShB machinist was Drill.
With EW we essentially got a 3rd quasi drill and honestly it's too much. It has made the rotation feel more monotone and boring in my opinion on a pure feel basis cause it has devalued pressing actual Drill. Like outside the visual chainsaw and anchor don't feel like they have a particularly strong skill identity so it feels like I'm just pressing more drills in ew which has raised the cadence of feeling like I'm pressing it to a point where it's monotone. Really at that point I think I would have preferred a different heat blast finisher or anything really.
It's definitely discouraging to know we're stuck on this version until 7.0 but oh well I guess the only hope we have is a full redesign.
