"I pay my subscription fee. The tank, the healer and the other DPS don't pay it for me"...
There, corrected it for you.
I don't know what anyone else's NN is like, but as a recently returned player, the types of questions I saw getting asked aren't ones you need to be a hardcore player to answer. Being casual is probably perfectly fine 90% of the time because people mostly ask stuff like what this hunt mob is or how to do this in the UI or how they get access to such and such dungeon. They're generally not asking about endgame or precise theorycrafting for whatever class. I hadn't played in over a year at the time I returned and I was able to answer a great many questions, despite needing to ask a lot of questions myself to figure out what all I needed to do to catch up. I think the actual problem with the requirements isn't that they're too easy, but rather that they're too narrow. The game is a lot more than just instanced content and the questions asked are rather broad in terms of what they cover. I'd actually suggest reducing the number of instances required and adding achievements related to other types of content, like fates or the hunt.
Oh yeah, I know - and I would argue that the mentor system needs to be changed though, to make sure that someone being a mentor is actually qualified to give advice and be helpful. Right not the system is flawed though - I only wanted to point that, other than suggested by DPZ2, you dont have to be a hardcore player to become a mentor. So my argument was basically: "You can become a mentor without being a hardcore player" not "You should be a hardcore player to become a mentor".
But thats actually a different discussion that might belong in one of the "change the mentor system" threads :)
You're a casual who plays 2 hours a day? You're level 60? LOL OK SURE
That's not casual..... 60 in 2 months is way WAY more than 2 hours a day. Maybe you should stop bum rushing story and take some time to work on your CC, Your Gear and other things.... That's what most people do and did at 50/60. I took the time to get my CC way before I got to cap in 2.0 because I knew I would need it.
You're just lazy and expect other people to put up with your BS. I pay my sub too. Respect my time.
I've never kicked low DPS in a dungeon and I've put up with some pretty bad DPS in Dungeons... Your self entitlement is disgusting OP.
Also if you "know" your job your DPS wont be low. Maybe you don't know your job. Make friends with a striking dummy and a Bard Guide for your 2 hours tonight instead of torturing unsuspecting strangers in DF
