I agree to disagree with this statement. Chilling on your property while queuing should be allowed. No neglect in that. It should be looked at as how you enjoy using your property inside and out.

"At the core I see no difference in confirming the notification at login, and checking ones email associated with the game every so often. Anymore warnings and concessions made regarding the demolition timer would go against the intent and purpose of the timer. " email IRL and pop up In game are two very different things, also poses very different purpose for contact on the way some play game. This does not go against any intent for adding that kind of notice. KINDNESS is how we should think of that kind of notice not carelessness.
They have no way to register you are sitting on the outside area of your plot.
If all you want to do is sit outside, you can always make use of someone else's house.
Effectively, you aren't using the house and so there is no need for you to have that plot when it could go to someone who would be using it.
Edit: maybe get a friend to make you tenant at their house so you can redecorate the outside to your liking without the responsibility of entering the house?
It is carelessness though, you did confirm you received a notification just did not act on it. How can that not be considered careless on your part? To my knowledge the email even stats you have to enter the house. So you cannot even say the email is vague in that sense. Making it easier to avoid the demolition timer sort of defeats the intent behind the timer. I mean the requirements to keep a plot are already extremely lax, any more concessions one has to ask what is the point of even having the timer in the first place.
Also what I mean by at the core I do not see the difference is because both serve to act as a warning for the player in question. Only difference is one puts the burden on the player to check their email associated with their account, and the another makes it requirement to confirm upon login. I mean SE already has a system in place, just so happens that yes if you do not enter the house and rarely check your email it can be missed, but why is that a problem SE should fix? Housing has many issues that SE needs to address the demo timer most certainly is not one in my opinion.
They have no way to register you are sitting on the outside area of your plot. The same way they know to place you inside or outside your house when you Que is how they know. If they did not know where you Que from you would not make it back to the same spot after run is done. Every item you interact with is a trigger including your movements.
It is carelessness though, you did confirm you received a notification just did not act on it. How can that not be considered careless on your part? Careless would be opening the notice before hand and not doing anything. This was not the case. The notice was not opened till after a little over a week from when the first notice was sent to promo mail outside game. This is why the in game notice is also needed thus the post.
"Also what I mean by at the core I do not see the difference is because both serve to act as a warning for the player in question. " if you see no difference than adding it should also not matter to you.
Here, let me point out the thing you have yet to confront. You havent and your OP has nothing to do with it. If you actually believed in enjoying your property "inside and out" maybe you should have followed your own philosophy and enjoyed the inside, too.
You know why they send an email? multiple emails? because it's VERY unlikely you're online and getting in-game notices if your house hasnt been entered after 42 days. it's EXTREMELY unlikely they are just standing in their lawn the entire time. It's almost as if emails are the most uniform way to inform someone outside of a game or service. this isnt some slight. this isnt an attack on your personal property. it's common logic and not so critical thinking.
This hyper specific situation boils down to almost pure laziness and shouldnt be encouraged or catered to.
referring back to your initial post doesnt change this basic logic. it doesnt change that you couldnt be bothered to right click a singular object. it doesnt answer anything. its deflecting and reeks of entitlement.
I will agree to disagree with your statements and your logic behind them.
I will agree to disagree that you deserve your plot.
I will agree to disagree you have any leg to stand on.
I will agree to disagree with you too. Yes, correct i am entitled to have in game pop up notice. That would be great! :)
"maybe you should have followed your own philosophy and enjoyed the inside, too." this i have its was a great Dojo inside and out! Thanks! :)
