Thank you, I'm glad people still understand it's a simple as that, instead of coming up with silly unrelated arguments like "class identity" or "my healer class should be better than your healer class" just to defend and downplay SE's shortcoming.

In all seriousness....at the end of the day, WHO CARES. Leave SS II to Whm, if they feel so special about it. It's not going to make or break anything anyway - it just saves EVERYONE's time, that's all.
SCH is already the cool kids job anyway - I am fine with leaving SS II to peasant WHMs.

I've got no problem letting SCH and PLD borrow my SS2. Or hell even anyone unclassed. If they can use SS, why not SS2 when it's literally a non-combat-only convenience version.

If you think Stoneskin 2 is anything special I've got news for you - it's just a time saver. That's it. If anyone wants to go to CNJ 50 just to save a few seconds before bosses in a dungeon, let 'em.

Yeah, I really do think after playing WHM since P2 beta, SCH is easier, more fun, and just makes more sense given the huge amount of hate WHM get for heals and the lack of offensive abilities.

Stoneskin II is really only useful at the beginning of an 8 man. The rest of the time, people don't wait for it at any point (even boss pulls) so I promise it is not worth all of this grief.

Of course it's not worth it. This thread has been blown way out of proportion. SS II is just a TIME SAVER, that's all - and this is why I don't see how WHMs can consider this a "OMG AWESOME WHM EXCLUSIVE". It really is not. Those WHMs must suffer from a severe inferiority complex towards SCH if they cling so tightly to SS II, really.

But whatever.

I wouldn't say inferiority complex really. Also, not as "OMG AWESOME" as we expected. Again, WHM have plenty of heals yes, but too much hate, and not much else to do but stone spam or holy spam; I guess every little advantage is something?

Nah, it's exactly what we expected it to be - they said right off the first mentions they would look into a way to speed it up out of combat.

SS2 isn't even any functional form of advantage. Really.

I'm sure Sacred Soil don't keep enemies outside of the circle.
This barrier create a savespot around the caster.
