[Discussion] Upcoming Hot Fix

Every time I come to the forum, I get sad. Every time I see these updates and hotfixes, I get sad.

95% of this game is already a casual cakewalk. Classic single player RPGs required more effort and skill than this game. And yet tons of cry babies infest the forums because it still isn't good enough. Then SE comes and fixes what was never broken. Gathering was one of the very few things in the game where you couldn't hit max level in a couple of days and they are already changing it. I got stacks and stacks of diremite web and fleece without ever farming a damn thing. I got to lv50 weaver without spending a single gil. And they are making that easier for the cry babies. I have made millions of gil with little to no real effort but since gil doesn't rain down on the whiners automatically, they run to the forums and tell us about their terrible day.

It seems the only real MMO game left is Eve Online.

The community ruins this game for me. I like the game. I like the crafting system. I like the gathering. I like playing the market place. The world is beautiful. The cutscenes and story are very fun. The music is great. But this game is right next to being an instant win button. Modern MMOs aren't made for me. I want that classic MMO style where being max level actually meant something and where there were major accomplishments that were actually rewarding. I miss the classic MMO where it was actually an alternative universe that you could almost live in rather than just Diablo with more people.

I figured as much, it was more of a shot in the dark to see if a dev had posted regarding it. Here's to hoping they increase the cap and it wasn't just an error in translation. Grammatically speaking they said that they were going to raise the amount that it is possible to receive but it usually isn't so black and white when it comes to patch notes.

Hi, there is more Korean mmos I could list that cater EXACTLY to your needs. Go check them out imo.

Those are only the bug fixes though. Still waiting for info on the updates (tome changes, level 50 dungeon changes, Karakul and Banemite changes, etc.).

This has nothing to do with korean mmos if you played early FFXI you had those things there too and my take is that a lot of FFXI players(me included) would have loved if FFXIV expanded on that.
