Yes I know, indeed I can, but I bought a PS3 copy so I can play while not on my computer. The intention is to be able to play on PS3, however if the purchase on PS3 deemed inability to play, it is an issue that SE and Sony will need to sort out. It isn't just me though, I would take a gander that many people facing this issue are those also have either Windows client looking to supplement their service account with another platform, or they have service account from Beta 3/4/EA and now the PS3 copy seems to have difficulty to link its (PS3) license up to SQEX.
I think we'll only be able to play when they replace the game on psn.
Now we deserve the same treatment that NA players receiveid...Refund and free game!

I'll be honestly surprised however if they refund us and give us a free game. Although that would be pretty nice. In any case I just really want this to get fixed as soon as possible.
I'm giving it another day (or so) if not happening, I will call up PlayStation NZ and request for a refund... My concern now is, I have a PS3 CE copy here that I'm reserving for my partner's account should he wants to play it... With all these PSN/SQEX ordeal, I'm not sure if the pre-printed 4-4-4 code will be useful, or be "invalid"... O_O
its funny i just realize that when we enter the game first time the terms and rules we have to accept are designated for Terms and rules US/NA nothing mentions europe...maybe this is part of the problem...maybe our game it's the "wrong" game.

our accounts are european, if the game we bought were a US version we wouldnt be able to register because US version of the game can only be register in US accounts and EU version of the game to European account... and we know that some european/us players have received wrong zone codes

Still haven't got in the game since B4... but oh well, playing MMO for over over a decade i understand the launch disasters, what can happen.
well if they don't solve the problem in 7 days i'm sure you can have your money and if they refuses tell them you want to make a complaint directly to sony and SE. you can try now but maybe they'll tell you to wait.i'll wait a couple of days this was my birthday gift so...i want the game.

and on my confirme services history - all services. the ffxiv service isnt there...so the accounts arent working at all
i'm really sad about this...because its a white or black page...we dont know nothing...dont know if they are aware of our problem...or when it will be solved...and i dont want to refund.and i think sony doesnt give us a refund.

they are aware of it ,, they did remove it from sony store ,, right ? .. so what im afraid of is that issue would take long time to be solved .. i was happy playing beta4 and insanely leveling up my character so once it released i continue with it , but now im behind everyone ,, and on top of that i cant even login to make a new character ..

"So to summarise, here's everything we know until now.
If you bought a PSN digital copy of FFXIV:ARR and linked it to your PSN account, it does NOT recognise your purchase, even though PSN does.
"There is no valid service account...." "Restart"....etc, hereafter referred to as Red Message of Death.
If anyone wants to play FFXIV:ARR before they fix the Red Message of Death, they pretty much have to do what I did:
1. I had to buy ANOTHER copy of the game. A HARD COPY
2. I had to register ANOTHER PSN account.
3. I chose to (but not have had to) register ANOTHER SE account.
But that worked out and I am actually playing right now, though i CAN'T CHOOSE SHIVA or any of the listed servers. I have been placed on ATOMOS. Doesn't really bother me as I plan to terminate this account and head back to Swinehouse as soon as the RMOD is fixed.
This thread is hard to find so we need to ***** it out until we're loud enough to be heard. But it IS peace of mind for those stuck in our position.
It's bloody ludicrous that it had to come for this for just ONE of us to actually get into the game. I mean, my theory worked but all that does is prove that there really is NOTHING that can be done until either Square or Sony, whichever it is that is causing this (probably SE) does something about it.
Even though we've now managed to attract some Sony Tech Supports' attention, all they've been able to tell us is that it's not their fault and the dreaded 'we're aware of this issue'.
Based on my successful experiment this evening, though, we can definitely assume with some confidence that:
1. The problem is not connected to server overload. Someone screwed up.
2. It IS exacerbated by the fact that download sales are shut down for the time being.
3. Any of us who have actually fallen prey to this bug are stuck because our PSN accounts are ineorably BOUND to the FAULTY SE account.
4. It's difficult to get people to notice this as there are 100x as many screaming about servers.
I guess we all just have to wait. In the meantime, if anyone wants to hear my thoughts on the game just ask.
Also, I'm a loyal sort, so I am definitely not going to forget about all you guys now that I can play. I look forward to teaming up with you all as soon as we can on whatever realm we can.
LASTLY: This thread will only last so long. If anyone is up for continuing this group in-game I suggest we form a group of some sort a bit more permanent. Suggestions?

yeah i know i'm not gonna buy another copy too.but this explains that this "broken" game just "broken" our accounts..because if you register the physical version on an account that have this problem...you'll have 2 problems instead of one...the 2 games and keys will be blocked
