If you are in game right now you will have early access items given to you but in regards to the CE items you need to register the CE code on psn account management and then it will ask which account you want to link it to when you log in and you just choose your beta toon.
So I'm trying to get this straight. My account with 3 service accounts:
1) FFXIV 1.0 Beta
2) FFXIV 1.0 CE, FFXIV ARR Beta
3) FFXIV ARR Pre-Order
my active one is the 3rd one, will I get the CE and Pre-Order bonuses?
If not what should i do? Its close to release time so re-buying the pre-order and applying to my #2 wouldn't be an option. Am I stuck with choosing which service account to play with?
Ya thats how I got in this mess lol. I didnt link the EA to my Beta toon because it only showed my JP character just like it does now. I was just going to remake my character. But it says its locked in the beta account. : / Be much easier if SE would just reset the codes so we can move on .
Yeah I think Ima just cut my losses and Deactivate the Beta account and make a new character on a different server. Then when servers straighten out and everything is back to normal Ill just do a transfer. So anyone need a soon to be Endgame bard :D
I personally didn't know our beta toons would carry over thats my fault for not reading news so i assumed i needed to link it the one i wanted to play which was the CE one from 1.0 but it wouldn't let me at the time so I just tried making a new one to see what it would do, but it didn't give me a confirmation like "are you sure" just hit make new and boom its linked. I agree they should just reset the codes so we can move on, but i wonder how hard it will be? this issue might only be 10% of the population and would seem illogical to reset all codes. maybe an option to reset.
I believe if you send the information you had submitted earlier that gets ya a reset.. I am just concerned at this point because I dont have any registration codes for my CE edition since it was purchased on PSN. Here is to hoping SE has it all figured out when I get home in 3 1/2 hrs XD
I've registered the CE code (retail) to a new Service Account by mistake -.-
Since they have a form made just for that, I hope everything will be resolved soon. ;)
Same for me. My main character from beta and early access doesn't show in the service account or when trying to register the game.
But, a newbie character made on a japanese server made during maintainance of the NA/EU servers shows up instead. This isn't the character I want to have as main character, but the previous one I've used as main character. Besides, the new character is in the wrong world/region.
I just hope I'll still be able to use my main character after I register.
Update:
I waited a couple of hours before doing the register procedure, and now everything is in order.
Both characters are registered at my account now.

lol I cant even cut my loses. Every server is locked so I cant even make a new character and just start leveling that. So sad..... they will probably have my beta character available to me before they unlock the servers.
If you already have your pre order bonuses but no CE simply log completely out of the game. Upon re-log you will be prompted with another UA where you can add CE to which ever of the two service accounts you wish to play on. In my case it gave it to both for some reason and I went into square account management and deleted the account I wasn't using. Hope this helps you guys
I'm kinda speechless right now. Such terrible design of the account activation page. This has to be a joke. I've been happily patient through all the server issues (that are still going on, locked out for the rest of the day most likely) and well... now I'm at the whims of their e-mail only customer support? I'm in love with this game, but unless the account side of this gets sorted out, I'm done.
i'm a bit scared... i d/ced because of the alt tab bug so i decided to put in my code for my physical pe collector's edition since i saw the site was open... only thing is, it made a 2nd service account, and on the 1st service account it only shows my jp character i made when i was bored... i'm a bit worried since i don't want to start over
does anyone know if the collector's edition on the 2nd service account (including the free 30 days) applies to the first service account? or should i just contact SE customer support

I'm getting really frustrated with the company itself, it's almost impossible to enjoy this game without getting trouble. What an awful launcher with a really bad interface for the ps3, I ended up with two service accounts. I'm still waiting for the reply to my ticket and just want to the play the damn game.
I finally got a reply to my ticket. They told me it will take 48 hours to process and fix it. I am not really worry about it anymore. I purchased a physical copy from Gamestop. So, I suppose I can just register the CE code to my "service account 1" slot and delete the other..should be fine, right?
I called Sony and I am getting a refund of my CE I bought on the PSN since it isn't installing. I am getting a hard copy from Gamestop.
I could use one of those codes.

My characters show up now. Seems a lot of issues are fixed with the "just wait around a while" method. Hopefully time will iron out everyone else's problems, too.

Anyone gotten an answer? I've only received the confirmation email stating that the ticket was open. Requested a switch from service acct 1 to 2, which seems like something stupid easy to do... Wish we could do this on our own and not depend on them...
