I play ps5 exclusively.


For me it's like playing a completely separate game that my fellow players. The party they are having is just bland and uneventful beeskneesing for 3 hours straight from my perspective.

nah like i said, i mostly blame SE and Yoshi P on this. had they taken this stance back during those two world clears with people streaming the use of third party tools instead of just wrist slaps essentially, it would have never gotten to this point. As a side note, i never understood what moonmagic and wifi it didn't click until today, but it leads me to believe people asked about it and sought it out to download everything to make it work. Still you can socialize without the use of moonmagic or wifi if that is what they were calling.

You people are crazy, the game existed fine for almost a decade with a mod syncer why do you think just because its gone the game will, much less why do you think another won't pop up shortly enough, they didn't even remove mods and plugins the just removed the automatic syncing one, you'll be quite alright without it just learn to live like a normal person again.

I was totally fine with people using mods until I heard that there was underage content being made. Of course this is such a small minority of players but they have a massive impact on a company if that stuff were to take off or somehow make its way into the media. If I am a business owner nothing shuts my company down faster than underage modding, its gross and everyone religious, non religious , left , right , center white, black ect finds it repulsive.

Thats a sound argument similar to the gun control argument. If you ban all guns the criminals will still have it and commit crimes similar to these creeps using mare for that specific " activity". Is the solution just simply to not do anything then or is this on the community as a whole to seriously police this action up when its discovered

The 'creeps' are already not using mare because mare had rules against it, while the fork I mentioned (that is still up and useable, reminder) was made to get around those rules.

So quite literally, the thing you're complaining about is still happening and got hit way less hard than folks using mare for 'normal' stuff.

Thats unfortunate it still is going on and there isnt something the community at large can do to stop it. I dont know all the ins and outs of the mods so my knowledge of this might not be up to speed on what others know so I just assumed that it could be shut off with more ease.

That'd assume that they only eRP at beach.

Those players could have been doing their daily roulettes, weekly raids and all that. Just that player-generated content kept them engaged during the content drought.

If the game would die without ERPers as some in this thread assert, then I say let it die.

I do not think however that this is the case. I think they're an exceptionally loud, self-interested group that thinks they're more prominent than they are. They are a very loud, very small minority.

Imagine acting like a 12 year old over a 3rd Party tool that broke TOS being shut down, that you review bomb on Steam.. How sad can you be? You surely did such an impact! The stock prices dropped a WHOPPING 0.38% in a day! Crazy...

Imagine having such a big head that you think that players that mod are the only reason why the game exists. Modders, especially the RP modders have lived in a bubble for a very long time. There is a very large console player base and vanilla pc player base regardless of what you think.

A busy game world helps to retain other players. A dead empty space puts people off.

The game cannot afford to lose those players, and if this sparks a wider move towards eliminating similar things, it will become a catastrophe.

Square Enix stock has barely had a dent. If all of them leaving REALLY left such a big impact. We would see Roblox level of stocks tanking. This is nothing, the SE Holdings stock closed out at -0.32%, while it's been on an upward trend... from about $490 a share to 475. Crazy numbers that!
