I'd say it's less that you're blanking creatively and more about the way this game is designed just doesn't support achievements like other games have. If you look at where they choose to add achievements in this game, it's almost entirely utilized to bolster the numbers of hardcore players repeating content far beyond what more casual players would do. In effect, this makes it so content never really dies and you always have a steady flow of people doing things so that newer players aren't completely cut off.
I don't think this design is necessarily a bad thing, even if some of these achievements are completely overkill, but where I do see it being a problem is how it takes over all aspects of the game, particularly solo content. Just to use a recent example, Island Sanctuary's achievements are just straight up garbage. With achievements like gathering 30,000 times and collecting 2500 crops/leavings, you're not making an interesting challenge, you're just creating another potential hook to keep someone subbed. Solo content is the place to have creative one-offs because you're only relying on yourself to complete the challenge and even if every other player completed it already, it'll always be there for you to take on whenever you want. Hence why fishing is the best content in the game :rolleyes:
