No my bf is 5'10 irl while I'm 5'4 while I don't consider him short for a tall race in lore it does seem a lot shorter than I was expecting as I was fretting they'd be like Elezen which you wouldn't get me to touch with a pitchfork as I enjoy playing shorter races.

But...you have small women already that you can play, and as I mentioned already viera and miqo'te look so similar they look like they could share a common ancestor. It's not as if there is no choice if you want to play a super beautiful shorter race with animal features. You don't even need to buy an expansion to have this choice.

At this point you're just being selfish by claiming that the situation somehow sucks for you. What you're asking for is already in the game. I'm not against introducing more height options but to claim you're somehow in an unpleasant situation due to viera being tall is laughable.

I personally think they are fine the way they are. Sure I wish they could be just a little shorter too, it just most likely won't happen sadly. I've accepted it. If I want to play a cute short female character, I will stick to Miqo or Au Ra.

However I do think the female Viera are very pretty and they may be the first taller female character that I like. :)

I'm assuming that last account was banned--which makes me wonder: isn't ban evasion a serious offense on the OF or are the mods much more lax than I initially thought? I mean, I want to be a tall catgirl but I can't, I've wanted to be a tall female au ra but it's not an option because they made them small and dainty which is the complete opposite of the original concept art, and I've also wanted to be a taller female midlander but no chance. Am I bothered by it? No, I've been all of them multiple times and just sucked up the fact that I have to be short and I've still had a great time. Also... what on earth does being a casual player have to do with how your character looks?

I have been waiting for a tall race I'll like for forever. I have tried making a Roe but I can't deal with the muscles, but weirdly enough I love seeing Femroe's, just can't play as one.
I have fantasia'd into Elezen several times but never last longer than a week before i get tired of their weird walk, neck and emotes in general.

Miqo was my "main" race before with the occasional fantasia now and then. Now it will be Viera.

I will probably be one of those people, but it has nothing to do with the height. The overall personality of the race is what does it for me. From what we've seen of the Viera so far, they seem a more stern with their emotes. Will be interesting to see the rest of them. :) Miqo'te will always feel more like "me" in that sense, but I am still quite excited to try out Viera for a bit.

Yes, it is a harmless opinion. Unless you're prone to flights of extreme fancy, that is.

And women do tend to be shorter than men as a matter of biological reality, and by quite a bit. You can call that "assigning gender to height", but it doesn't change a thing, particularly not bell curves of height distribution between the genders, nor does it suffice to alter the fact that by and large this has fed into what we consider to be attractive for each sex at an evolutionary level.

Again, this isn't a matter of SJW at least for most who are upset with you. Those who you've upset are women or those who know women who are tall. Your blanket statement was that women who are tall aren't feminine. That's offensive. Has nothing to do with SJW or the times today, it's just a straight up backwards viewpoint.

Matter of fact is that those women who tend to be small have a genetic leaning towards it. A tall man is likely to have a tall son or daughter because it's in there genetic makeup.

In northern countries where the men are extremely tall, so are the women - because that's how the genetics are passed down.

So this crap makes zero sense that they'd be small, and why the Veena only? The only way a Viera would be small is if the Viera crossbred with a very small race.

What is wrong with being 5'9" or 5'10"? If anything, I think that's perfect. Most races are either extremely petite/small or too big/bulky. Viera is a nice happy medium! They're not too tall, but they're not too small.

Why just the Veena? And I'm not talking the exclusion of the Rava, but of everyone. My Midlander is at max height, and I wish she could be just a little bit taller. I'm sure there are others who have their sliders at min or max settings and still wish they could go less or more. What can I say? Probably due to a misconception about Feol Viera from Revenant Wings. The fanon for them is that they're smaller and for awhile it led people in the support threads, myself included until I learned my perception was based on incorrect data, to say they wanted one clan to be tall and the other small to satisfy everyone. We also had this concept art floating around since back in Heavensward that depicted smaller Viera, so people have been grasping onto the hope that we'd get something similar one day.

Personally I'm happy with the Viera as they are now. Yes it'd have been nice to have another race like the Hyur with a clear split between the clans but that's just way too much extra work to put on the developers.

Someone doesn't need to be "an sjw" to find your opinion stupid.

I believe there are only two genders. I believe there are biological differences between men and women. I understand men are generally taller than women. These aren't things an SJW would generally say.

What I do know is your perspective doesn't reflect reality. Tall women are considered attractive by many societies. I'm 5'11" and I've had modeling opportunities for much of my life, I even paid for a reasonable portion of my college experience with scholarships - several of which I recieved from pageants! I've been this tall the entire time. No one has suggested it made me manly or unattractive.

You're projecting your own personal standards of attractiveness onto the world, that's the issue people are taking with you. You can find tall women unattractive just like you can find fat/skinny/black/white/asian/trans/fat/disabled women unattractive and that's your prerogative... but it doesn't mean other people fell the same or should have your subjective standards of attractiveness effect them in any way.

Leave Viera alone, they're gorgeous as they are.

I think the Viera are great as is. They're tall, elegant, and downright beautiful. That's something that we don't have a lot of in this game.

If we are to take the second image as the point to go from we have two viera tribes and no feol tribes. Feol here is being displayed as something similar but different to viera, but not as a viera tribe. So in essence what some are asking for is one viera tribe and one feol tribe.

I think we ended up with two viera tribes because the differences between them are mostly colour palette choices, whereas feol differ in more ways than that. It's less work to do just viera, than to do both viera and feol. And well feol would have just ended up looking like a halfway point between miqo and viera. Not that I would have minded but it's not exactly bringing something new to the table. Also doing that would have most likely meant no hrothgar.

Someone disagreeing with your opinion doesn't mean they're a SJW. Someone disagreeing with you also doesn't mean that they are offended. People have mainly just told you that opinions are fine, you however have been stating them as facts. Nobody is flaming anyone and the only one threatening with reports is you.

Please stop making all these threads. They have received your feedback and they keep showing that they do. There is no need to keep pestering them about every niggle and issue you have with the game etc. Just because the final decisions they make doesnt go your way this time, maybe the next time it will. Game is for EVERYONE, not just you.
I have accepted things in the game I personally would wish the Devs would remove like PVP and Eureka. BUT I understand other people might love these features, so I will not beg SE to do what I prefer. Just learn to accept things and move on instead of looking for the next thing to be upset about. You might have more fun with the game if you do ;)

If i had customers come into where I work and they pester me about I should do it like this, as they prefer it like that. Go somewhere else. Just like the developers of this game, I have years long training to do my job. I would love for you who are demanding things, to go to Square Enix, offer to work and see how you feel afterwards.

Correct. That's just fan-canon from some random tumblr account. Easiest way to tell it's wrong is that it says the Feol (rarely) live in the woods. Feol Viera are exiled and live in a volcano.
