Monsters/enemies you wish were mounts.

Diremites, Dust Bunnies, Chimeras. I like the idea of the Dust Bunny having an action to drop you and freak out. I've always liked the idea of Diremites being mounts. Chimeras are just really cool.

Nope, and when you ride it you have to cackle madly while stroking your tiny moustache. That way everyone will see the true evil that lurks inside every lala. I could really get behind a lala mount though. 4 lalas crawling on hands and knees carrying you in a palanquin (like this, but carried by lalas instead of bombs http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/...quin_Mount.png)

I always thought it'd be kinda neat to have one of those big slimes/jellies/oozes as mounts. But instead of actually mounting them, you instead force yourself inside them, and they go wherever you want them to go. And when you dismount them, you force yourself outside of them. Maybe have a cosmetic "buff" where you're all one color (of whatever color your amorphous mount is) for some-odd seconds. And yes, I have weird ideas.

Most of the dragons "it would be easy since its just pallet swaps" such as frost dragon or moss dragon.

I would love more "natural" looking mounts. A plain horse, an aldgoat, a dodo, or a raptor. A decent looking wolf without flames.

this is a good idea, we should have more unique riding positions. the new MGP one is good. but having some more where we're inside/underneath/to the side of the mount instead of above it would be nice.

Oh I would love a Malboro mount very much. I really miss Carrot from FFT and would love to have my own Carrot. I just wish it wouldn't scale down just because I'm a Lala.

No worries about flight! Heck, FFIX's Malboros actually fly...it's real scary to see back then.

Bahamut barding, at least. Have pieces drop from each coil. And a 2nd Bahamut barding, one that uses an ultimate coil drop, that glows ridiculously bright.
