Its good point but its about find the linkshell community that does help you.

1. Yes, it sucks to not get a chance to do hardcore/event content simply because you haven't had previous experience in the battle. Find a different group/linkshell party and learn/run it with them. Most players are understanding and most are willing to help you.

2. My bigger issue with your post: if this is how you type and present yourself in game, a LOT of people are not going to take you seriously. I make spelling and grammar errors too, but usually, they don't get in the way of people understanding my point. However, your spelling and grammar is THAT bad, I stopped reading what you posted halfway through. If I can't understand you when you have unlimited time (and spellcheck) to put your thoughts together, then what kind of communication can we expect from you in the heat of battle?
3. Our ability to use grammar and proper spelling, is usually what gives other players in game their first impression of us. Your post tells me you are either too lazy or not bright enough to follow the basic rules of grammar and spelling. Fair or not, party leaders might not wish to work with you because their initial judgement of you is a poor one based on your lack of proper communication. (Based on your original post, I do not believe you are not a native English speaker. Your language and word choices are obviously American)
5. So maybe you need to find a ls or group that is laid back AND that uses voice chat programs. That way people don't judge you on your horrible grammar and spelling and instead, judge you on your actual ability to play the game.

Again, no one needs perfect grammar or spelling, but in a game that forces you to type to at least people you have never met before, you need to make sure what you are typing can be understood. Based on this post, you are probably very hard to understand and take seriously in game.

There are selfish people everywhere and everyone is guilty of it from time to time (If not all the time). Welcome to a little thing called life, it happens in games too.

I think its hard for Masamune to grap the concept that English isn't necesarily everyones first language. Were we to ask him to put together a post that long in spanish for us for example, I am sure it would look 30 times worse.

If they need every person to be experienced for the fight and can't handle training you then they aren't so experienced themselves.

about the whole, he was not healed during ifrit, maybe the healers were getting erupted and needed to run and run back. unlucky circumstances can lead to both sides running for a few seconds

btw to OP, I'm sorry for your experiences, on Palamecia it's quite the same as you have an already dwindling population filled with elitist... From here stems the problem of finding a shell that doesn't have assholes, or people who like to run with assholes.. Not only this but there's only a handful of English speaking people on my server anymore, I can literally count the number of LS'es that run things I want on one hand.. I cannot wait for this server merger as I think it will fix a lot of things.

Basically. Elitism is on a whole different level that people seem to want to see happen with this game by saying SE should make it a WoW clone, essentially.

MMOs are in general a popular playground for elitists or elitists wannabes. You can't get around that fact. It shows most of all when you reach the endgame stage, which is why I've never been a fan of endgame myself. FFXIV is currently drained of players, leaving only the most hardcore; this causes the elitists to become more evident than they normally would, and makes it hard to find players like yourself to gain battle experience with. :/

with dead... every time combo with5-10 round and lose all.. ppl will want someone. who will make win in fight not random win with random outsider -3-" your play game use time 3-5 hr fight 1 trip and 8 ppl use time.... so ppl need meaning for this time sink. ls friend still is first choose for all event trip.coz we can talk and make tactic and plan before fight and learn togather.

People tell me [Or you], to get a linkshell and have them help you. It is a good point but, the real challenge is finding a good linkshell that can actually help you.

Just think, when the new players come, how do you think they will feel when they are treated poorly by you? How this game is experienced by other players, is all effected by you and your actions.

There, I fixed some of the errors in the OP so that you can all stop talking about it.

There are 3 things that not a single person in Fabul is if you ask them.

A Botter (Nobody botted anything even if they went from no 50s to all 50s in like 2 months)
An Elitist (Nobody is an elitist, i mean they say they are not so that automaticly makes it a fact)
And wrong (Eveyone is always right about everything considering everyone else wrong)

Unfair is the hot thing right now in Fabul.

Out of curiosity how long have you been playing? Are you in a LS? Reason I asked is cause it's seems a bit unfair to judge a whole community based on a pick up Ifrit party... I know it seems like people are trying to be jerks but in honestly alot of people have been here and still not gotten a Ifrit weapon and don't have time to "train" you. My advice would be find a LS cause a pick up party isn't the best way to learn Ifrit (let alone any EG content). This is not a solo game you have to find people who are willing to help you with EG content or you won't last long....

Dn't get hurted OP of their language talks. It is commonly known fact that English language is too young still to be spkn/wrttn correctly. It needs still 2000--3000 years to get to same level with old languages, where people have lotsa words and better grammatics. But this poor language is good bridge between bigger and older languages as it has so few words. And that funny "I" thing of English. They say: I am. you are nothing. Why You native Englishschers don't start writing that stupid I with smaller letters. People hate you because u have so big I. Languages are made for changing them.

To OP :

It is pointless to ask anybody opinion here, since nobody know how you and your friend play.
There are so many newbies that think he/she plays really good, but plays very bad actually. Vice-versa, the person might play good but get misjudgement.
Best to find JP party that often randomly shout, join them a few party and see if you can manage to not die or not. If you always get killed, then your case is likely to be the first one.

If you are good player : Their lose if they don't pick u and nothing to whinning abt
If you are bad player : Accept it and make effort for improvement.

I am on the Fabul server as well and I know where you are coming from. Send me a tell in game or a pm. We wouldnt mind taking you in on some of our Ifrit runs and teaching you the basics. We dont win all the time but that's because we dont mind taking in new people.

if you wanna do endgame you:
A; need a LS that will take you
b; need to do it when its new and everyone's learning

you cant expect people who have done it 100 times to master it to take you along when you've never done it. Its better they dont take you, then you go and everyone resent you for making them lose.

Sorry to hear that there's people like that in your server. :(

In my server, there are a lot of Ifrit practice parties that actually welcome any class to go kill Ifrit for practice or fun, sure, we don't win 90% of the time but a lot of people are getting the hang of it and we will have more exp players to party with in the fututre thanks to this.

Try making a party by yourslef and welcome any player that wants to go with you, you will get tons of exp that way, as long as you get 1 tank and 2 healers, everything should work fine, you will probably get killed everytime but it's a good way to make exp and friends in your server that will help you later on primal battles.

I just want to join a cool LS and be a groupie that hangs out with all the cool people and goes "YEAH!!" every-time they something witty to someone.
