Se! Healer dps is totally op, plz nerf.

No, Holy was nerfed because that AND Flare was too powerful, which led to things melting fast and it also meant faster clears in dungeons. The devs didn't like that. Don't act like as if WHMs got the nerf bat cause BLMs were also hit with the same bat. Holy and Flare together made things trivial.

That's how far it went. Healer don't feel obligated to heal. I wonder what the Devs may think about it.
It's always "funny" to see healer turning into Manticore if Knock back isn't available. Of course they die and wiping the group. Why? Because it's so much fun doing damage, right?

I think more focus should be put onto having to heal you see. Like, if you're the cream of the crop, then you can weave in DPS, perhaps, if you really want to keep the CS mechanic. But for your average Joe, DPSing as a healer shouldn't be possible. It should be for the best of the best only, if possible at all. In my opinion at least.

Don't worry, in 4.0, Cleric Stance will be totally removed from all Healer jobs. The battle system reconstruction will allow Healers to do absolutely nothing but heal. Solo gameplay? Not anymore! If you're a Healer and you want to MSQ, you'd better get yourself a Tank or DD buddy, or you're up shite creek without a rudder.

As a main N. AST healer , I shield and SS tank. Quickly CS, LA, SC then pop gravity to DPS while my cards are running.
I just don't wanna sit still and heal all the time and am willing to DPS if I can. I mean I don't
knock other healers if they don't DPS...but why not? Just chilling out isn't all that fun lol.

Oh well, I blame people wanting speedruns and the devs putting critical DPS checks in stuff and now us healers
have to choose which one to do. Heal and wait for inevitable death or die because there wasn't enough DPS lol.

But DPS is not our priority either so why even touch CS?

Yeah this is why playing a healer in the large group PvP is stupid. Everyone else has access to their kit but we get punished? Screw that. You get to do almost nothing and get instant-targeted for everything.

You'd be surprised at how many people rage quit out a run because "we can't do this without a healer" and then turn around and beat the floors in record time after they leave, even as a healer if i have another one in the run i'll just tell them to full dps and i take care of the healing if it's needed and it does fine. people are just not thinking clearly.

You're taking it out of context. I meant for the average joe it shouldn't be possible because they'd be required to keep healing of incoming damage vs what their healing throughput is. And I already know you hate my opinion and hope everyone on my server hates me (Hint: Most of them do already, I'm quite infamous, so you got your wish).
