Based on the information we have, its mostly sure that is not.
The ruins on Dravania, have nothing to do with the ruins of the Mhach.
Those are 2 different civilisations, separated by thousands of years.

Did you both read the comment of Risaka?
He said that the entrance of the second part of the "Shadow of Mhach" raid, is on the dravanian forelands.
The ruins where the "entrance" is, are the ruins of the elezen people that lived with the dragons after the events of Shiva.
Thats very much obious that is not. The ruins in Dravania Forelands, has no relation what so ever with the Mhach.
Plis read carefully >_>
Your words are sort of muddled. "The ruins of Dravania and the Mhach have nothing to do with this"-- "this" is almost certainly going to be taken to mean 'the next Void Ark zone' as described in the thread title, and Risaka's final line.
Your post definitely comes across as dismissing "the next Void Ark zone" as having "nothing to do with Dravania or Mhach" which is factually incorrect--because as others have pointed out, Void Ark and Mhach are pretty much the same thing--well, Void Ark is a product of the Mhachi anyway. It is correct in establishing the disconnect between Dravania and Void Ark though.
This failure to understand your meaning almost certainly stems from a lesson I learned in high school: "Don't let a sleeping 'this' lie. Make clear what 'this' is!" etc. You might've been served better by clarifying further: "The Mhachi/next Void Ark zone have nothing to do with the Dravanian Ruins in the Forelands" etc.
I knew this was the only possible way someone could make an excuse of why they didnt "understand" my comment.
What I wrote what obious and easy to understand, even more with the comment I replyed, if some people misunderstood it, there is nothing I can do. Mistakes happen, just need to read carefully.
Sure you will continue to debate, keeping saing that Im wrong, but well I'm not here for that.
Thanks anyway.
That's not what you said though.
In the context of the discussion your comment explicitly meant that the raid has nothing to do with Dravania or Mhach. I know English isn't your first language and this isn't a big deal but everyone did read your post correctly.
Just out of curiosity, from what I looked up I could only find short texts about the Yafaem Saltmoore but nothing else, how do you know it is that place? :0
Yea, I suppose the language barrier can be an issue sometimes.
Oh that does makes sense, If it really is, it would be a shame to reduce an entire region to just one raid instance...
So I guess SoM's second raid will then be us raiding the old Mhach palace and the third installment be us fighting Diablos and the queen in the void.
I'm starting to see a pattern coming to birth here given how CT ended in the realm of darkness which is part of the void as well.
How about that big silhouette in chains, a Sephirot type boss fight? Any potential lore about that character around anywhere?
There was an entire Astral Era between the fall of the Allag and the Mhach. While the Mhach, and for that matter almost everyone in Eorzea, decend from the Allag since they ruled all of Eorzea for at least several hundred years, the Mhach would have come from a civilisation that grew from the ruins of Allag.
I suspect your right about the third raid. Several of the names we have seen reference Mytholical figures, most notably Scáthach which make me think we might also see a connection to Ferdiad who along with Cúchulainn was one of Scáthach students.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sc%C3%A1thach
Interestingly, apart from being a legendary female Warrior, she lived in a place called Dún Scáith which literally translates into Fortress of Shadows, a rather voidsenty sounding location. Third raid location my bet.
I actually think that may be a statue. It looks like a much larger version of the statues we saw aboard the Void Ark. It could be a boss though, can only speculate really. We know far too little about the Mhach to guess who it could be or who it could represent at this point.
So this rises my two following questions,
1.- Is Mhach a play on the suffix Machy/Machi/Machy that denots war/battles, it fits if you realize all the voidsends regaining power as the Shadows of "War" from the War of the Magi.
and as said here:
2.-How Cuchulainn works with the rest of the Espers/Scions because they already used the name? (Tho the one in VA has a strong resemblance to the one of the zodiac). I might be thinking too much bout this point, we already saw a few other names around Eorzea but by no means they are in the same _social circle_
I don't think we should look too much into the FF12 Espers for FF14. Cuchulainn, Ferdiad and Scathach are all voidsent, while Belias is an elder primal. While I think there are references I don't think they are going to copy everything across the same.
Don't forget, Zalera is a fish
Ah, but if you read the fishing log entry "it has come to be named for the Death Seraph of legend." Now I'm not saying there is a case for Ivalice's Lucavi to appear in Eorzea as such because of this, but it's worth pointing out the fish isn't Zalera itself but named after Zalera, the Death Seraph.
When will they make the Void Ark gear (ilvl 200) turn in-able?
Here's the Pyramid area we were briefly shown
http://i.imgur.com/VQA1pcE.png
What's interesting is that atop the pyramid seems to be a blue orb and what appears to be a type of beacon on top?
I get the feeling that this inside the Pyramid will be the final area of the next act of Shadows of Mhach. Perhaps it'll open up a portal into the Void? The Void Ark was capable of doing it, so I'd imagine the Pyramid in the Mhach capital might be able to do the same.
What's also interesting is the ruins surrounding it appears to be covered in (over-aspected?) crystal similar to the ruins around Mor Dhona. Of course, that might not be the case with just this image. It could be glowing aether of some kind
I'm hoping that the end tier of the VA quest line will be the Interdimensional Rift in the Void.
