You need rank to wear level 50 armor? Nope. It was removed, and hopefully this is too soon.

Move along nothing to see here. Just someone who wants free glamors. They have complained on the pvp board and no one takes it serious. They don't post from main character. Because I can't believe anyone with Arcanist 60 thaum 26 and conj 20 could be expected to be taken seriously. Oh forgot pugilist 1. They have put little effort into ranking up.
They are right about one thing though, they could make it so the vendor refuses to sell. So marks fall to the floor so you wont be taunted by the oh my glamours. The system actually protects your marks and lets you buy. Unlike lets name two, Grand Company and Advanced marks.
About all people should complain about is the horrible gating of the que. Someone has done the math and it is not that much effort to get to rank. It is though a pain to sit in 30 min ques meaning a two hour play time could net you three games or less. Which in turn feels unfair given that if you put 2 hours into anything you should be able to net some better reward then just under 700 xp per two hours. The system is flawed but not in the way they project.
Stop whining and grind it out like the rest of us.
Jeez man, seriously.
PVP has the best glamor, of course.
and OF COURSE it's obviously gated by a big rank requirement. Being able to wear the PVP gear IS your reward for grinding out Rank 50.
So, get to it. I'm not even max rank, and I'm not complaining. The gear is an incentive to grind it out. Don't care how long it'll take.
EDIT:
PVP Gear doesn't benefit you in PVP a whole lot. It's how you play your Job correctly in there, and not MINDLESSLY DPSing for no reason.
because it is practically useless now and has no further meaning to pvp since the new pve equipment came out? it is nothing more than a means to glamour.
in wich way does it give an edge over others when the pvp ilvl of seal rock is currently capped at 150.morale doesn't change that ilvl cap, aswell as materia.Quote:
PvP Gear just gives players an edge over others. Which is probably why they want to keep their unfair advantage because they don't want to PvP fairly.
you have no idea what you're talking about, am i right?
Why do people keep spouting this nonsense?
PvP gear does not give you a significant edge. In Frontlines is does absolutely nothing. In Wolves' Den it'll either let you pretend you have i210, or (and this is much more likely) it'll do absolutely nothing. I'm sure they'll add an uncapped option, like they have for Wolves' Den, but I'm also sure they'll have a capped option (like the i80 cap one) and that will be the competitive scene in Wolves' Den.
Morale is a do-nothing stat. PvP gear does nothing, it is solely an ill-conceived trophy piece.
If you don't want to put in the effort to equip pvp gear, then stop dancing around it and say so rather than dancing around making arguments that only holds water in the form of semantics.
You're really falling onto those sort of arguments now? Although we're arguing circles at this point because honestly, I can say the same for you that you just want to be lazy and not work toward PvP rewards.
You honestly want to bring other games into this, WoW doesn't let you equip arena gear unless, again, you had the proper arena rating. Neither does Elsword even though their ranking requirements is an absolute joke. Possibly more examples from other MMO if I actually played beyond those two.
And for the record, PvP gear doesn't give you an edge in PvP. Everything level syncs at i150 and morale/materia slots do jack shite in frontlines.
That's a really wide-ass estimate. I have 300 effective matches and I'm already rank 41.
Not all the pieces have good secondary stats. Like the ranged PvP top is saturated with skill speed, and the law version is det/crit. There's also no meaningful content that morale works in, and it's up for debate if it even works in wolves den in 3.1 for their adjustments.
Those places do not exist, and probably never will in a significant way. We're getting Lv60 Wolves' Den, where this might be relevant, but like I said, they will have a capped version where once again Morale does nothing, because having gear provide an edge in PvP is nonsense.
Yes I do, sorry I'm not inept and don't require hand me outs or carries. It's already simple as it is, if you don't enjoy grinding seal rock for your rank. Don't play, don't get the rewards. I play pvp in this game because I enjoy it, the glamour is just an added bonus to it. I Understand you may not enjoy it, you just want the glamour and are expecting an easy way to get it, but that's not how it works. The ranks are our reward to use that gear. Ranks would mean nothing if everyone can just get the gear and bounce once they get it. q's would be longer, but that'll probably mean less baddies. OP and this one is probably one of the ones who don't read alliance chat and end up feeding the opposite teams. lmao.
I don't really consider a mindless and pointless Grind "Easy" or "Hard".
More like "Frustrating" and "Pointless". I would rather earn rank by doing objectives and actually doing things in PvP that give me points and have it mean something not based on "Armor". I would rather have mounts, titles, skills. However, when its put on the armor it makes it pretty redundant.
You can grind it out by making two premades and letting them destroy you over and over and the same to them. Which is how some Rank 50s got their rank in the first place.
I don't appreciate you "name-calling and bullying" others either, people on the forums should not be afraid to voice opinions.
Untrue, I play a big server and I was invited to it once but I consider such things "exploiting".
They even bragged about it too. This was around level 50 though, when people treated PvP like a secret club.
It's pretty much impossible to win-trade in FL due to the sheer amount of people required who all have to be in the correct GCs.
Also, there ARE mounts and titles achieved by completing PVP objectives (victory, kills, node kills and tomelith occupation to name a few). The only thing you don't get is the rank 50 gear, and achieving rank 50 is easy if, as many in this thread have pointed out, you actually ENJOY PVP and aren't just interested in being "rewarded" for doing it.
You don't need a PhD to comprehend this, mate. PVP gear is mostly meant as a glamour badge to showcase to the world that hey, that player is pretty dedicated to PVP. Allowing players who don't commit the time to PVP in that manner to wear the same gear is disingenuous.
