And no AST buff . Whyyy?? Why???? *crying blood*.
Will do the following;
-Keep people running it all week long, thus reducing the queue times for those who play late week.
-Guarantees loot over time. May not be every week, but you WILL get gear in time.
-CT style loot lock, meaning you simply run it again if you didn't get your Token. No problem.
If repeated dungeon/raid runs are not your thing .. You may be playing the wrong genre of video game.
Interestingly, in removing the cast time for Minuet/Gauss, they left the door open for skilled players to take advantage of both the instants+AA and Cast+30% to really push numbers while also letting those who just turn it on and not turn it off do reasonable damage.
We'll see how this works out for the Bards and Machinists, at the very least it looks a bit more in line with what people were expecting.
As for Dark Knights: They pretty much are working fine as it is now, they can MT and OT well enough. They fixed the biggest bug it currently had, there have been varying different reports on the whole Darkside MP one so it probably requires more testing, and pretty sure the Darkside aura isn't a bug even if they do eventually change it. Plus more changes come as the game goes along anyways, can't expect everything in one patch.
Also for the token part: It actually works out very well since it'll keep people running em still, but with a good chance of being able to get all their gear anyways. Expect people to have full Alex gear before the week is up actually.
Also as far as Alex weapons: THat might be Savage version only, doubt they will have only Ravana weapons be the best you can get till 3.1
the only part that bother me is:
4 token for the body armor and leg armor, while you can only get 1 item per floor and alexander have only 3 floor.
I think you're confused about what I'm asking for. I'm asking to have the option to not have the cursor default to "wait" wen the duty pops so I have to press left and then X to enter instead of just pressing X like I used to be able to. It won't automatically take you into the duty when it pops.
I play with controller. And the difference between pressing 2 buttons instead of 1 is exactly the difference between a good UI and a bad one.
Perhaps it's just me but sure it has lower potency heals and that's the trade off for you being able to buff your party members, so I don't really see the need for it to get buffs. Sure the card system is infuriating at times but it would be op if you could just outright pick your cards because then everyone would be picking balance over and over again.
Meet a group with 2 WHM that puts both regen and medica II on you, see your mp gone in mere seconds. MP is both mitigation and dps for a DRK. My siphon strike can hardly keep up with the mp drain, and the uptime for blood price is not enough for 4 regen buffs on me.
No I know exactly what you meant, and my original statement stands.
You know why it doesn't default to that? It's friggen astonishingly easy to rig the X button on your control to repeatedly fire- same with the 0 button on numpad.
With the kind of system you want, people could queue and go afk without worry of copping a lockout. Yeah, they may get kicked from a dungeon once people realise they're afk- but up until that point they'll still get exp for monsters killed.
we also don't know the stats for the said gear. For some classes getting 4 accessories first might be the way too go instead of getting the body or pants. That being said, the fact that you have to spam this dungeon might attribute to how difficult content actually is. Im just hoping it drops 2 (or more?) per chest similar to some of the coil turns where you got 2 iarmors/accessiores and 2 upgradable materials but I highly doubt that
I don't like the idea of instant cast guass/wanderer's. They should be separate playstyles rather than something you micromanage toggling on and off. And in the case of mch, they've already got their share of micromanaging to do.
so it says that you can only get one loot each week, does that mean that you can only get one token each week from each floor? so it is expected you play 8 times for each turn?
Like I said, there seem to been have varying reports on the issue as I have seen people have claimed that they have had no problems with it despite things like that. Could be they didn't try it with two WHMs doing that, I know I haven't yet and so far my DRK has been doing well when it comes to MP. Either way it may also be something more complicated then the bug with DA affecting multiple targets (it certainly sounds as such to me), which means it could take longer to fix it.
Nah they would of at least posted the "weapons" on the item list. Since they took the time to show other things like materials to make new items that I would assume drop in Alexander. It would appear that they plan to have Alexander weapons be a sort of "trophy" for those who can complete the harder version.
It only has 3 map achievements.
T4 in BCoB didn't have a map achievement... Does that mean T4 didn't exist?
Alexander – The Fist of the Father
Alexander – The Cuff of the Father
Alexander – The Arm of the Father
Alexander – The Burden of the Father
Adds up to 4 floors...
...Crap. There's an i170 entry requirement for Alexander. Wonder how many players are going to get that rude awakening?
(spoiler: I'm one of them, because I've been trying to raise two classes to raid-ready level... and so neither of them are geared enough apparently)
Anyone going to buy Tataru or Alsaie on mog station?
i would rather have the old rule to get 1 item, instead of getting 1/2 or even 1/4 item each week per turn
Well, there is a bug related to the aura. It's in the accepted bug forums for a reason.
Though that's probably has more to do with the black flames missing than that size of the aura (which will probably be adjusted as well).
Darkside MP bug is potentially worse than the one they fixed, but it might indeed need more testing. I don't think it always happens.
Of course I didn't mean making cards any less rng as I'm fine with them right now. But i do think the cards need a slight buff to make them more powerful to offset the rng factor. Also, I think we need another emergency cooldown in case things go wrong instead of having only essential dignity. Just those things and I would be happy panda.
Nah. I knew exactly where my priorities were. Monk's forever my main, but our raiding composition is fairly fluid and most of the time I need to play White Mage instead. The ending priority was that, functionally, I should do my best to have both of them ready because depending on who in the FC was around and interested at any given time I could be playing either.
So much for that.
