OK, so NOW what? (PS4 HW PSN)

I just would like to know how some of you got to order it? And i also got the free PS4 upgrade
I go to the page and it only has a tell me more button and upon clicking says not available :(

Can someone please tell me how i can end my free trial earlier than expiration date and how i can play with full game privileges. my bro shared his final fantasy full game to me but i cant download it why is that? i have demo.

Well, good thing I haven't cancelled my gamestop preorder of the hardcopy then. I've got the same issue (PS3 CE upgraded to PS4, shows only the PS3 heavensward being available on PSN). I'm still wondering what's taking so long for the preorder codes. Although I can't even log onto the preorder site at this point.

So... PS4 hard copies still waiting on EA codes, and the PSN pre-orders are flat out broken?

Broken if you took advantage of Square's Upgrade Campaign. Sony doesn't seem to realize that we've been playing on the PS4 this whole time, funny that.

Hi Marik!!

You should be fine if you've ordered the physical edition like I have.

I upgraded via the promotional upgrade campaign from PS3 to PS4 and was able to register my early access code on the PSN and it downloaded the 2GB file ready for the 19th. So you should be ok.

Will my Early Access code work ? And when are we meant to start or be able to use ?

Did you preorder from the SE store or another retailer and have the code already? Just curious because with all this I was planning on ordering from shopto or game in the UK.

I pre ordered thru the square enix store on release day. I just wanna know if I'm affected or not. And when is the early access code gonna be usable?

Ok so I don't have a pre order code what I got from pre ordering the actual hard copy from the se store was the 3rd email with my Early access code. Now they say they gonna charge my card 10 days before dispatching my order. My question is when are we gonna be able to use the EA CODE ?? And where? Mogstation? Psn? Ps store? Se store? .

Can we please get an answer for this? (I'm in the UK btw)

I have the same screen! I received the preorder code right when the expansion was available and got that emailed.I followed the instructions enclosed and was then brought to that screem that stated to wait to receive the code for early access. It's been quite some time now and I've yet to receive the code for the psn. I'm aware that there's issues with playstation getting codes generated but I'm seeing people on ps3 and 4 getting their codes no problem x.x

When people say ps4 CODE are we talking about the PRE ORDER OR EARLY ACCESS CODE? Because I haven't got a pre order one I got an Early access code. Anyone in the UK with an EA code that can help?

I preordered from Amazon.de (the german Amazon)
They have send me the preorder code ( ABCDEF-123-ABCDEF-123 )
I used this code on the SE preorder side and got a PSN code for the PS4 ( ####-####-#### #=letter or number)
I used the PSN code in the PSN store and it started to download the Heavensward addon.

If I login to my PSN account on the PC to look about infos of bought games I find now this:

Funny enough, I did the PS3>PS4 campaign and indeed can't pre-order Heavensward on PS4. I can, however, pre-order it on PS3 even though it's technically no longer functionnal.

No big deal for me though. I mainly play on PC and my Early Access Code is already registered on that. I can always buy the PS4 version of Heavensward a bit later.

fyi people who cant wait for them to fix the problem with the ps4 upgrade do not buy the bundle it does not include EA

No sarcasm- I appreciate SE, but man is it disappointing that they can't just let people have peace of mind with Pre-Ordering and Early Access. It should never be cutting it this close, we're just a little over 2 weeks away from release...

This is absolutely not a Square Enix problem, regardless of whatever Sony Tech's any of you may or may not have talked to say. It is utterly ridiculous that PSN doesn't recognize our free upgrade as us having the PS4 version of this game. This is ENTIRELY on Sony and their faulty licensing for hard copies of games, basically just like Aoxaviar said in his post outlining his talks with Sony Tech.

When we all did the free upgrade campaign, you switch your account information in the MogStation because it effectively terminated your PS3 service account and switched it to a PS4 service account. That is literally the only thing SE would have needed to see that we are indeed on PS4 now. The even better part about this, is when we accepted the free upgrade to PS4, MogStation then provided us with a PSN 12-digit code to download the free client on PS4!!

Square Enix can't just randomly make up these codes, they need to be authorized and issued by Sony. Sony knew what they were for. This is not a big mystery, it is a monumental f***-up. How is it possible that Sony gave Square Enix however many thousands of codes to distribute to the people that clearly needed to upgrade from PS3 to PS4, then turn around a year later and act like this is a Square problem because it doesn't show us as owning the license for PS4 version of ARR?!!?!?!!?


I have no more words for how insanely idiotic this situation is....

If they'd been working on Heavensward as long as they wanted us to believe, which I'm sure they were, the logistics of all of this should have been well planned out and discussed before-hand. No problem. I'm not against pointing fingers (SE isn't without it's faults), but I do try and make sure the fingers are pointed in the right direction. They want to sell their product to as many people as possible right? Yeah...it kind of goes without saying that this has been on Sony this whole time.

The problem is the common person is just going to see that they can't buy this game and have no reason or knowledge as to why, and will automatically blame the company that produces the game instead of a 3rd party distributor. See the person I quoted, and the single word I italicized in his quote....

Anyway, just be prepared to re-install ARR. I don't see any other way they are going to remedy this because I don't think SE has anything they even can do. I love this game, but I don't love it enough to buy the base game again just to play the expansion. European pre-order codes on PSN basically broke their version of ARR, and they had to re-download. I'm not even sure what that would entail us to do, seeing as how PSN is telling us our game doesn't even exist.

Yeah, if you downloaded the beta client it just upgraded to the regular client, but either way you are in the same boat as the rest of us. I downloaded the beta client, but I literally just wanted to see the graphical upgrade at the time. I remember wishing I never did this because I played it for about 2-3 hours, then I couldn't bear to go back and look at the PS3 version any longer so I stopped playing the game altogether until I just had the full version on PS4. I deleted the beta client after I played it, so needed to get the promo code from MogStation after getting the upgrade.

It was a valid 12 digit PSN code, used directly on the store like any code you would get.

I mean, I have faith that this will get fixed...but between this mess and HW taking forever to even be put up on the PS store (who knows, that may have been delayed by SE for all we know but it's too late for me to care) it's hard to be the avid Sony supporter that I always have been.

The EU PSN won't have HW available until June 19th,oh, but look forward to your Early Access with your pre-ord...oh wait, based on their track record,perhaps not. I can't help wondering whetherthat ridiculous timing is in order to accomodate whatever fix they have to do for PS3 to PS4 upgraders.
