I think this is the best one so far. Let me try.

Tanks: Waiting to see if DPS can dodge. Waiting to see if healers will heal you. Waiting for the OT to provoke off you. Waiting to switch back so you can wait some more.
Healers: Waiting for someone to take damage. Waiting for someone to die because they can't dodge. Waiting to cast Medica 2 right before adds spawn to liven things up a little.
DPS: Waiting for the tank to get up the courage to initiate the fight. Waiting for the tank to stop his or her pull so you can start mashing buttons. Waiting for the healer to raise you when a mob sneezes on you.

Scholars: They use some fairies.

MNK- Press buttons, make sure you move a lot to insure you might be doing damage useful things.
SMN- Press buttons in slower fashion, and split your attention between so many things you'd rather play BLM.
BLM- Press the 1 and 2 buttons whilst standing still.
BRD- Press buttons while being able to move around, not need to be anywhere specific, and still do useful things.

Wait...

Summoner: all your spells are colored blobs and so are your summons...wait a sec

DRG: Jump around like a neurotic jackrabbit.

MNK: Pretend you know Kung Fu.

NIN: Get harrassed by a little face-hugging rabbit repeatedly.

BRD: Steal hate from the tank, then get shouted at for not singing.

BLM: Use half the elemental wheel, then wonder why WHM got the other half.

SMN: Poison enemies and then sit back and wonder why there's a colored blob following you around and trying to hurt the things you hurt.

WHM: Try to save the suicidal idiots who refuse to move out of AoEs while wondering why you have half the elemental wheel.

SCH: /follow the tank and let your Fairy do all the work.

PLD: Hit the same three buttons over and over again, maybe pop a cooldown or something every so often.

WAR: Just spam one ability 24/7, and then shout at the NIN or the BRD for not restoring your TP.

I'm gonna flip it. I wanna make all the jobs sound interesting again!

DRG: Put the long pointy end in the bad guys
WAR: Whack the bad guys with the sharp end, and get hit back
MNK: Punch things.
WHM: Make the bars fill up.
BLM: Make the bars empty. Then fill. then empty.
SCH: Play second fiddle to a fairy.
SMN: Play second fiddle to a bird.
MCH: Stab things with bullets.
AST: Make people feel better by playing cards.
DRK: Put the big pointy end in the bad guy and be emo while doing it.
