I'm begging you, please make Ramuh EX a little more farmable.

Well, without any real numbers we'll never know the win rate for Df teams in the newer Ex fights. I'am 0 for 54564 now (joking) and I dont think I'llbe able to clear Shiva Ex using Df anytime soon. If you've had batter luck using DF more power to yea.

So I did Shiva EX for the first time last night, using DF. Got 2 clears out of 3 separate attempts. Ramuh EX in DF was 1 clear out of about 20 separate attempts. The mechanics in Shiva are much more forgiving in DF situations. I do love the Ramuh fight, I think the mechanics are fun and it's a cool fight overall. But it's just too strict mechanically, for every player, for it to be farmable in DF. Do I think it should be nerfed? No.

I'm not a big party-finder/FC person. Most stuff I do with DF. But With Ramuh, I practiced in DF until I had the fight down, then had my FC run it with me to get the clear. You could do the same and use party finder for a clear group. If I ever feel like farming it I can join a PF group for that. There are always going to be some fights in this game that require you to take that extra step.

She ALWAYS is. Very elitist view of everything, but guaranteed if something was too hard for her she would be the first in line to complain, then when it was adjusted to her level, she'd boast about doing it..

She has a point, though. My FC hates Ramuh Ex. We tried running it once or twice to get me through it but didn't manage to clear, and after that no one really wanted to try it again. So you know what I did? I went out and joined PF groups to practice and get more experience until I finally got my clear. I could've come here and cried about how hard the fight was and how they need to make it easier. Instead, I decided to devote my energy to actually clearing it... and it worked. Just last night I helped two more people get a clear in PF.

Yes, it can be a frustrating fight if you get people who don't know what they're doing. I was in one group last night who didn't even have the DPS to get the adds down. Some people will fail at reading numbers over their heads no matter how many times you remind them. That's the point where you either leave and look for a new group or kick the people who are holding the group back. It IS possible to clear Ramuh Ex with PUGs. It just may take a few tries before you get there.

I hv been ramuh a lot of times this few days... for casting ring but it nv bloody appear.. like after 30 rds.

for ilvl85 min requirements, those Adds are tougher than those in t6 or shiva's....
n players go in with a zenith+ironworks gear hoping to be carried. ~!@##$$%^&*()

even the adds in Shiva ex were much easier than ramuh ex..

well since SE raise the item level..on one of the patch... raise the min ilvl too...

First off, Ramuh had VERY desirable drops as soon as they made the rings into i110. They were BIS for many classes at the time. Second, it already is easy to farm. Them adding echo was them nerfing it.

Returing: I've found Shiva Ex using Df easier then Ramuh. My win record so far is: Shiva Ex 16 wins, Ramuh 1. I take back what I said earier.

I don't like this passive threatening aka my FC is unsubbing because Ramuh is hard, nerf it.

I think that not every primal has to be nerfed to the ground or DFable. Titan was the lord of extremes for too long, he already need some retirement and Ramuh helped him with that. :cool:

Tip for people unable to do REX correctly: do a PF with 1 tank 3 healers (1 WHM, 2 SCH).
The main "problem" of the fight (tanks dealing with orbs) just disappears and the fight becomes a child's play. Really, no need to vocal or stuff like that.
It was a piece of cake before 2.4. Now, people are at least i120 in their main class, it should be even easier.

42 wipes on REX as of now. 6 DF and 2 PF attempts. That's 8 fulls timers, that's 8 hours of wipes total on REX.
Even TitanEX didn't require as much (Echo would counterbalance DPS dying to Landslides)
There's just a lot of coordination needed.
I *want* to PF, but I usually don't have 2 hours of group gathering available.
It's not the fight that needs nerfing, it's players getting better/less lazy - DPS especially. Dragoons come to mind. Speaking only of experience. Don't be in the water for lightning - any lightning. Just don't. Stop it.

Now 30 Shiva ex clears ( still no smn book), 1 Ramuh and 1 Odin Clear using Df. Just keeping score. lol
