Yeah we noticed these changes last night. My group usually has the MT run into Conflag whenever it's up, so they're having to adjust to the MT eating Death Sentence during Conflags now.
OT: How are you guys dealing with the 2 healers in Conflag problem now? Do you have the MT run in if Death Sentence appears, and the OT walk over to MT's position?
So does anyone have an estimated HP nerf on Conflags and Snakes?
Same here...I didn't expect it to be nerfed this patch.
My group has been attempting it for quite some time, but due to real life issues/attendance issues haven't been able to reliably. I knew it was being nerfed in 2.2 but already? Kind of a kick while I'm down feeling, but whatever.
As if people you don't know or won't have any sort of interaction with you in game actually care if you beat it before or after nerfs.. Prestige? LOL Get over yourselves.
this is how i feel, this is the post i made on reddit about the same topic
"i'm not sure how to feel about the t5 changes
i don't have a kill yet because the static i was in barely spent time in t5 and broke up and i've wanted to down it before 2.2 but i feel like this will sort of diminish my win
yet at the same time it will be easier to find dps who don't fail on conflags and snakes"
Most pug groups can get past conflags anyhow.
Making icons different sizes wasn't really a buff or nerf.
Who cares anyhow 2.2 around the corner, new adventures, and challenges.
My group will be going through t5 when our whm returns this week. I'd rather go with my judgment then reddits at this point. Their parser-bannable claims are still running around. Untill then I will wait for SE/Devs responses.
Lets see... who should we trust when it comes to whether or not a particular piece of content needs to be be adjusted.
Now on one hand we have the game developers, the people who have access to records of how many people have beaten the content and perhaps even have compiled data on how far groups manage to make it and which parts trip people up...
And on the other hand we have people who have been lucky enough to beat the content mad that they believe all of the noobs out there will be able to pug T5 on their first try and their shiny equipment will no longer make them the awesome kid on the block.
I don't know why... but I kinda want to go with the first one...
Does anyone happen to have a screenshot of the new Divebomb marker?
And did they change the size of Fireball/Conflag markers as well? It sucks having a party of varying heights sometimes.
Did t5 to see how the changes are. It's quite literally easy as hell now. Big in your face icons, lower hp conflags/snakes. Oh well.
I think conflags needed to be nerfed. The dps check on them was quite ridiculous.

T2 and T5 had unintended changes so it'll be reverted back soon.
here is the fault with that, a soft enrage should still wipe the party. Not instantly, but shouldn't be able to keep it going on and on and on..
The biggest issue is that people who couldn't even understand the concept of passing rot were just plowing it, completely avoiding the mechanics in the fight. Unintended.. When you're getting people in pugs who say "I've never done it that way" then there is an issue.
Can't tell if you are serious or not? The conflags were hardly a big dps check.
T5 was pretty aggravating for me tonight, but I guess those that wanted more randomness will rejoice.
- First adds don't turn towards who they're casting Liquid Hell on
- Timing of Fireballs seemed more random than before. Prior to the patch it seemed to go Fireball > Conflag > Fireball > Fast Conflag. We had fireballs appearing at exactly the same time and after the Fast Conflags appeared
If your fireball timing is "off", you are pushing Twintania into Conflag phase faster or slower than you normally do. It has nothing to do with the bugged changes that are currently hitting T5 right now.
Just did t5 tonight and twin kept auto attacking our tank right on death sentence and killing our tank. Did they make this happen more often or something? So the HP for conflags and snakes are not staying? Why even revert them back if they are just changing again in 2.2?
I thought we had discovered, in another thread, that you had not actually beaten it yet. :o
Assuming this isn't reverted soon, you could just have your tanks..I don't know..use their one-shot prevention abilities instead of being lazy in the last phase with liquid hell.
Liquid hell? I'm talking about Conflags... o_O
Seeing as Twintania now focuses the 2nd highest in the enmity list, at least to me it would make sense to have the MT run in the Conflag if he sees Death Sentence, and the OT move to MT's position until Conflag is down, if 2 healers are inside the Conflag.
getting fixed, grats.. now you can try and have your "prestige" ;)
Did it last night.
I'm pretty sure conflags were untouched. If they were, it definitely wasn't something like 33% less hp.
The big snake did die super fast though.
Judging from your response in the other thread, I think it's more envy on your part. :X
If both healers are in the conflag. and your tank is about to be death sentenced, it's just as easy to pop hallowed or holmgang. Most tanks save these two abilities for either the snake phase or the liquid hell x5 of the last phase.
I agree: actually using your OT is the more wise alternative. However, remember that the 2nd highest person on threat will not be ensnared in conflag. so this takes the advantage away if you make sure your strongest DPS is #2 on enmity (over your OT) so he is always up for short conflags.
People who cant clear twin now, won't clear twin after the so called nerf. It seems like the biggest "nerf" was conflag HP, and most PUGs already get passed conflag with no problem. Snake HP isnt a big deal either, I havent seen people die because the snake had too much HP, they die because of divebombs, because they dont know what to do during divebomb/snake, or because of twisters. The nerf might allow groups who were very close to win, to actually win, but baddies will still be baddies, and won't be clearing T5 any time soon.
As far as nerfing T5 for the update, yes, it needs to be nerfed, so that everyone can progress up to T6. It would be retarded to release T6-T9 when people cant even beat T5 and they'll never experience T6 and above
Everything this. I am so surprised by the number of elitist in the forums and on my server. It's a game. Who gives a crap if other people get a chance to enjoy the content? You can still feel better if you did it first or faster, while supporting those people that are still attempting to advance in the content.
I did T1-T5 last night. I honestly did not notice anything except LB3 was easy to get even though we have 2x PLDs. I hope the changes to LB are intended as it was really nice ^^.
Aside from that Conflag is still 11k~ health according to ACT and we never have the tank goes in conflag so I honesty did not notice anything here. As for the sanke, for the first time since we started killing Twin we had LB3 and so the snake died way too early but I really think this is due to LB3.
I'm just saying I did not see any nerf, not denying anything else.
