What i realize.. you can get the Mission at each Town. So you have to reach a certain Point in the Missionline to get Acess to this Missions? Would be nice to see new Missions along with Dungeons.

I love how people race to be the first to post this stuff, even though it is all over the lodestone and mentioned on the forums too in the thing on the right, just to get more likes. Sad really isn't it that the Final Fantasy community is digressing into competitive facebook.
I can't help but think its a huge mistake not level capping the lower one. Level capping would facilitate a challenge regardless of how many 50 jobs you had. Dunno, just thing its a bad call.
Its all fun and games Nero :D on topic, 60min time limit sounds fine, for people who work that is. After food, kids, wife in that order ;) you dont have alot of time left.
I dunno you guys, but this news gave me wood.
Hm.. you got a good point there. I think we just have to wait for more details on the Dungeons or for the Release, so we can try.
Good call there. And if we can do it like 3-5 Times a week im more than happy with it.Quote:

It actually took me about 30 seconds to understand what you were aiming at.Quote:
If i wouldnt have been launched in the first place, you wouldnt sit at your Computer now.. oh wait.. your Mom didnt tell you?..
The gap in intellectual finesse was just too broad. -.-/
Well, at least in terms of community composition FFXIV has finally managed to
rival other MMORPGs.
I'm relatively certain that they are. They were previously referred to as R30/R50 dungeons, and SE is known to give a little flexibility in entry requirements.
How many of you actually entered Salvage as a Lv 65? Einherjar as a Lv 60?
About Tinolqa, Tinolqa looks to be the Japanese name for the Black Shroud region itself. I don't want to get overly optimistic, but I'm thinking that they may have started using the English name because the pending apocalypse may be soon.
There's no girl on the interned. You forgot ? :3
They're not or at least thats how I read it. Say 25 or higher. Not 25-30 or whatnot.
Hope I am wrong.
He means click this
So sitting back and saying nothing while they take their time and add pointless or half baked changes IS ok? If people havent been complaining about all the basic features missing, or about the dull unbalanced world, or crappy main features, then they would think everything is fine and dandy and keep going with the crap.
its sad to see that even fans say things like "i dont expect much" and severely lower their standards because this game has been so bad. You should never WANT to take second or third best. SE either needs to step it up or give it up, and as someone who is not only a longtime SE everything fan, but a 6 year FFXI vet, im not letting them get away with low standards, because ive already seen them do SOOOO much better, and one of those times was over 8 years ago.
Spruced that up a bit.Quote:

I hope you're right. It's worded like 25+ and 45+. I'm taking a job up to 25 and leaving it there to experience the dungeon as intended. I won't be surprised if 4 rank 50s can go into that 25 dungeon.
I just wish they had a maximum level cap rather than minimum :-(
I'm glad we have more idea's on how to restrict and alienate our limited population even more with thier toon xD caps like that make no sense... if your avatar/toon is higher experienced or lv u should be able to go back when strong and should be easier... natural mmo progression
Ok I dont understand complainers, you cry that theres nothing to do, so SE announce somthing then you complain that it looks rushed and you dont like the reskins. Give the damn devs a break here. if you can do better in the few months it took to make these zones, gear etc then make your own damn game.
You do realise it took 5 years to make what we had at release and then you expect them to re-write the entire game in 6 months?
Well, no. It doesn't really work in the same way other MMOs do because you can switch class. If people want gear from a dungeon, they can switch to a high level, kill the bosses and switch back.
That kills the point and party-play element because everyone will end up soloing it for what they need.
Are you implying people should stick around for another 3 years before this game becomes playable? Yes it took them 5 years to make but SE was a total mess and lacked direction/communication in every department, hopefully a lot of that inefficiency has been or is being resolved.Quote:

Are you sure it would be halfbaked, if they would take their Time?
There are other ways to point something out, than complaining. If you want changes its more productive to point something out, back up your oppinion, maybe do a Poll etc etc. Beeing like "No i dont like this, this sucks" does not help. Constructive Feedback is Golden.Quote:

I dont think this Game is bad in the first place. But i also dont think this is the best Game SE ever made. I dont expect much too, and that way i wont be dissapointed when SE is releasing something. I also dont lower my standards, i just think "Good things take a while". And at the Moment i think SE is going a good direction now. I seriously dont care about copy/paste Landscapes.. im not a prick and you find that in every MMO.. in some more, in some less. Its nothing which would have influence on my Gaming-Fun.Quote:

The first and only mistake was the early launch of FFXIV.Quote:

Can we stop the b****ing back and forth that is taking place in this thread? No one gives a crap - shut your pie hole and discuss things constructively. We are not interested in either of your love spats. STOP.
I am reserving judgement on these dungeons. I did get annoyed in FFXI when they used copy/past on the mob models up through levels. I am not surprised to see it here - certainly hope the bosses are completely different looking but I am not holding my breath. All that matters at this point is, and what should be focused on, being ready to conquer these dungeons. =) I think that copy/past issue will become moot when you could possibly get your arse handed back to you several times.
You guys complain way to damn much. You people would complain if the new dungeons came with free blow jobs.
I'm certainly excited!
I'm going to throw a crazy idea out here, so bear with me because this might be a little far-fetched.
How about we wait for the dungeons to be released (gasp! I know that's frightening, but hold on a second), actually play through the dungeons, then gather people's opinions through polls, questionnaires, etc., sort of like in this thread here:
One to Fifty, One Zone - Long OP
Obviously the introduction of these dungeon is of great importance to the future of this game. So I'd like to believe people here can take just one minute to be civil, put down their pitchforks and picket signs (for and against this game), and cooperate.
We did it once, can we do it again?
With blackjack! And hookers! Not re-write - more like "finish writing". Yes some parts need to get overhauled but I think it's fairly clear at this point that they're working on the changes alongside finishing the development they originally had slotted for this time.
You know, it almost feels like this is some cosmic joke, that Tanaka accidentally wrote "Q4 2010" instead of "Q4 2011" on a project calendar and then didn't realize his mistake until it was too late and just decided "Screw it."
I'm rather concerned about Silent Arbor being the starting point for the dungeon instance for R25+. From what I remember, all paths to that node are packed with high ranked enemies that could easily one-shot anyone at R25-30. I believe it was full of raptors, hogs & yarzons, although it has been quite a while since I've been there.
we still dont' have any dynamic gameplay these dungeons are gonna be a joke to begin with. they sound like ffxiv's take on how small dungeons like in warhammer were done. if anyone played blood and vale, i am betting this dungeon will be like just blood. small, easy as shit to run threw and unlike warhammer we dont go back to pvp 20mins later, we back to nothing to do><
i'm not worried bout what the zones look like more about the gameplay and seeing 60mins already tells me it's gonna be a crapfest. personally i think the new loadstone post was the words of a memorial for the dead..rest in piece ffxiv.
i opened this thread to have a discussion about the upcoming dungeons, now that we know more about it, and not to get likes.
having 300 posts+ i can expect you to know the guidelines to using gaming boards and having discussions about things that concern FFXIV.
if you feel like we don't need this thread to have a discussion on dungeons then you're free to leave it.
