That's the only thing I like about miqotes.

I was a Miqo'te like you all until I took a Lala UWA to the knee. Then I fantasia'd to a Lala to UWA others. Its like a zombie virus of cute.

I have the same problem with the Miqo'te design. If they actually looked feline they would be more interesting. Instead we just have:

Imagine how awesome 2.0 would have been with 1.0's graphic engine and 2.0's HUD, and UI.

We can always hope a lot of these physics return with the dx11 client in the near future. As of now too many things look unrealistic in how static they are while in motion.

Honestly I'd go roe if I were you. I hate being a cat and regret switching from Lalafell to Miqo'te. There are way too many cats running around this game and not enough beautiful Roegadyn women.

I don't understand why most of Miqo'te players and roleplayers are convinced that Miqo'te have monkey tails. They are a feline races, and felines have no control on their tail's movements. Gripping with the tail is what a monkey does, not a feline.

Maybe not grip, but saying they have no control of the tails movement is also incorrect. My nephew used to try and shake my cat's tail and my cat would stiffen it after a few seconds and paw his face before running off.

Male Miqo'te with their curly tail looks like a monkey, anyway.

My opinion, play whatever race you want or you will regret it later. I started as a Hume in XI, wanted to play Mithra but felt they were way to popular. In the end I rerolled as a Mithra anyway... kept seeing them in game and being all: "I WANT A TAIL!!!" ; ; lol. I hate how popular Miqo'te are, and that I will never be a unique and special snowflake~ but I don't care because I'm playing a race I want to play. :3

I'm actually surprised how many Miqo'te are running around. I picked Keeper of the Moon because it had the best stats for maining a healer class (which I do). I had no idea there would be THAT many Miqo'te once I got into the game. It's a bit disheartening because I now get clumped into the miqo'te "fan base" in the minds of others, even though I had a completely different reason for picking it. Not saying I don't like the race, I do, but I'm not obsessed with it. I still have fun with my character and play him as I would imagine the lore would portray him. The only thing I can do to keep him semi-identifiable in this sea of miqo'te is adjust him to look the opposite of whatever seems to be the fad at the time through the aesthetician.

Hyur Midlander :) I was a taru for 9 years on FFXI and then a Lalafell here for about 2 months before I decided it was time to "grow up" hehe. Midlanders are great though, you're basically the same without ears and a tail XD The highlander females get HUGE books but that's about the only plus in choosing them. They look too manly and for that I'd rather just play a male character lol

I actually like the Hyur midlander appearance more, but I hate the midlander animations, and I don't like the highlander looks :/

mmmm seriously why the hell miqote females gets all those anime style hairstyles!this is a "racism" against female midlanders who happen to be the most "suitable" vessel!

Highlander Female is my favourite female, but since I prefer to play male characters, that's not an option for me.

I was highlander (M) in Version 1, and for the first month or so in Version 2.

Highlander (M)s look great in heavy armour but terrible in mage/light armour. And since they nerfed the hell out of Warrior (those who never played Version 1 will never appreciate what Steel Cyclone could have been) I went with Miqo'te (M).

I think he looks alright. Deformed hands notwithstanding.

Hmm, still thinking...

Of the two, go Hyur (Highlander) for sure. Too many catgirls around (and I dislike them even more than I want to play Lalafell football at times...)

Unfortunately, I've been highly considering going Roe recently...

This. Miqo'te animations are so much better. That's ultimately what made me decide to pass on Hyur.

i'd say make what you want, I started this game with a Hyur Highlander , then became a Lala, i HATE being a lala now lol (not that i don't like lala's!! i just don't like being so small and every one treating me only as cute!)
shoulda made a miqote, since that's what i wanted any way, but i didn't because i saw there were so many... I found that doesn't bother me any more i just wanna be a kitty Q_Q
(P.S. Female Roe's are awesome and Haprimac's is def the cutest/sexyst Roe iv seen so far ♥)

I like lala's in theory, but after playing one for a bit I simply couldn't stand the camera angles.

My wife made this character for me its really cute, I also love Miqo'te's emotes, haha :D
