Your standards make more sense the OP I'll give you that. The only issue I see is that you require a GC weapon for WP when you can't get your GC weapon until you clear AK.

A competent Paladin doesn't take damage from Mountain Buster.... (Or takes extremely little). Though you still need competent healers to deal with 8+ Tumults.

When I say ideally I mean I prefer to see it. Of course I have had some really good fresh 50s in WP with only white weapons.

I recently hit 4519HP and guess what I have: Ifrit weapon, iLv 55 head, AF chest (iLv55), AF hand (iLv50), AK belt (iLv60), WP pants (iLv55), AF boots (iLv50), WP shield (iLv55), Militia neck (iLv55), 4 iLv49 crafted accessories (I tried twice and the only ones I could get are either these NQ ones of the iLv70 accessories in these slots). You want tanks to have 9/13 of their gear at or over what WP drops, in order to do WP. That is what you're saying.

With full Darklight on the left and full HQ Rose Gold on the right, +1 Holy Shield and Curtana, my PLD is at like 5.4-5.6k HP if I remember? (cant get on cause of maint). Im in full ilvl 70 and the Rose Gold is better than darklight once melded. Full ilvl 90 still probably wouldn't get a PLD into 7k, let alone 8k. The HP numbers you are posting are just wild and arbitrary figures posted out of frustration. You should try and find and FC to play with instead of using the DF if you're having such issues. FWIW i've not had that many issues with DF at all myself....

HP values for PLD and WAR are very different, however, want you really want is an ilvl minimum to join via DF. This feature is coming in 2.1, so just hold out a little longer.

Bad players require huge gear advantage to compensate for their lack of brains. AK is perfectly doable with AF1 and you don't need anything from WP for it.

I'm not actually sure how much HP you can get. Though my FC has a AF2 Head, Chest, Relic WAR and he is only in the low 7s. We also have a AF2 Head, Chest, Relic PLD that is in the mid 5s and is actually slightly less squishy than the WAR. I've never seen a PLD touch 6k. I see how you would get there with mostly 90 gear though.

The OP is either-

1. Trolling.
2. Can't clear anything outside his FC as they have been carrying him for the entire game.

In any case, I still stand by the statement that you don't need anything better than 60 gear for Titan.

Ive actually seen a PLD with 6.4k HP(buffed in group) prolly full allagan/AF2 gear(didn't get a chance to examine) . ;)

actually AF2 has yet to come out....AF1 is the gear before DK armor.....but this guy beat titan with 5.6k hp fully DK armor and garudas wep

funny thing is all dps died and at the end it took about a min and a half to 2 mins to finish him off with just me as a PLD and an amazing SCH.

just gotta know what your doing.

I farmed WP with my husband last night I was the paladin with 4.6k hp and they were doing 4 stacks of everyones grudge on me and we were getting the run done in 25 to 30 mins.

As PLD I have around 6.1k hp buffed. Unbuffed 5.8 almost 5.9k hp.

I still require the AF2 legs and head, and the accessories. Figure with them you'll have over 6k hp unbuffed easily.

A PLD in my linkshell actually has 6.5k with about 9 ilv90 pieces. Full ilv90 pieces would probably get you just to 7k health in a group.

And by "haters" you mean people using common sense? Your attitude shows what is happen a lot in the Game; "Relic+1, FULL DL for AK/WP onry." You are simply trying to compensate your own shortcomings with your initial Post, since 8k HP are pathetic for Titan.

By Your Logic a "new" Player, or someone working on his first WAR/PLD Relic would be never able to beat Titan, since without certain Gear you simply will not reach those Numbers and a good amount of that Gear is coming from Coil/Myth. Just with DL Gear you will not reach 8k HP on Warrior. lol

Looks like 5500 (5700) hp isn't enough.

1. As a tank hp means nothing. What you want to check if effective hp, i.e. hp increased by resistances/armour/...
2. Therefore your numbers are partially irrelevant for war, and completly absurd for pld.
3. WP DF groups are just below average, get used to it. I'm happy when I get out of it in 35minutes.

Remember, WP gear < AK gear < DL, so common sense tells fresh level 50 to farm WP.

Assuming 30 vit in bonus stats but without grouping bonus (I keep getting lazy and not checking the exact group bonus):
AF1 + AV aetherial fillers + HQ amber accessories + cobalt lantern shield = 4403 hp
Full WP armor + HQ amber accessories + DL belt + WP weapon/shield = 4592hp
Full AK armor + AK accessories + DL belt + DL ring + WP weapon/shield = 4911 hp
Full DL + Myth ring + Garuda sword + WP shield = 5447 hp
Full Ilvl90 gear = 6578 hp (Guess I can tank Titan after the expansion?)

With your numbers, you will basically never tank any encounter that you can possibly receive an upgrade from. So what you're saying is that the tanks in Duty finder are there for the sole purpose of providing you with a cushy run through. You're asking to much, especially from df groups. In all actuality, the starting 4400 hp on a paladin is enough to tank all encounters pre-Titan, with Garuda being the only hard hitter. On Garuda, proper cycling of cooldowns while the damage buff add is up will still let you get by with less than 5k hp.

With that being said, few things for new tanks:
1. 30 vit as bonus stats, no ifs, ands, or buts. That's 435 of your initial hp pool, I think the only way you could have a 50 tank with less than 4k hp is if you dumped your points into something besides vitality.
2. Go to the market board, and buy amber rings, bracelet, earring and a militia choker. Get HQ if they're not to expensive, when I hit 50 I dropped about 25k on full HQ amber and a normal militia choker. They may have inflated in price since then, however at the very least grab the NQ versions (5 vit nq vs 6 vit hq I believe).
3. If you still have a lot of cash, buy an HQ Aeolian Scimitar or the warrior equivalent. You will need to purchase one of these eventually for your relic quest, however make sure you DO NOT turn in the scimitar step until you've gotten either the GC weapon, dark light weapon, or a primal weapon to replace it.
4. Shields are few and far between, if you see a cobalt lantern shield up for a decent price or you have an armorsmith buddy that can make one grab it. The materials are cheap, and the only shield before a titan kill is darklight from WP which honestly isn't worth purposefully farming over AK armor drops. Once you have all your slots filled with AK + DL and just need philo tomes you'll be doing WP anyway, so you may pick it up as a consequence of that but don't delay AK hoplite farming just to grab your shield.

DL with hoplite top and head with Garuda Weapon...

Meh, my skills speak for themselves in game. I've carried many peeps and Titan is nothing new to me. I unlike many others get the proper gear before moving along in the content and carrying my own weight and some.

I just choose to not spend 20mins or more on undergeared players because they can't farm the content in a linear fashion.

Fresh 50s in AF need to do WP to gear up, then AK (even then they don't *need* to), then move on to DL. I can't stand you CM babies, can't do anything other than faceroll easy story instances without being overgeared xD

Warriors are better at everything besides primals and coil, I don't discriminate on anything other than HP because, as a healer, I don't see much difference as far as mitigation until Garuda/Titan etc.

5500 HP btw, for the tank that linked the photos, is fine for every content in duty finder except Titan(you will want to build your own PT for Titan), so whats your problem?
