And all fights are on a epic floating platform held by 12 naked angels with 7 black and 7 white wings each, but please always play the FFVII endboss music. And maybe also the Magus from Chrono Trigger, please keep the style of akira toriyama tho coz then he looks a bit like vegeta.
Add a Super BCNM where he teams up with Sephiroth, then its like Dragon Ball FF super mega OMG ZOMG !!!!!!!111

Not sure i agree, reading this put me off.

I dont want any realtion to Kefka, Sephiroth in this game, not even shadowlord.
Leave those to their own unique games.

Devs are way ahead of you, see Materia customization system announcement.

I would say "hell no" unless we also get a Mickey Mouse NM...

On a more serious note, just give us some Garlean Scout NM's; one near each of the main city states. It makes sense with the storyline with a hints to a Garlean invasion and could make for some epic battles with their advanced weaponry. At the start of the battle they could call for back-up and after 30 mins of battle one of their airships arrives and blows the party to pieces. Makes more sense than bringing in characters from other games, no? Having characters from other games wouldn't improve or advance the storyline and world of FFXIV however some Garlean Scout NM's most definitely would.

Also, we still have yet to see Cid in Eorzea.

Fighting old FF villains is a terrible idea on the surface...

HOWEVER.

FFXII did in in a very interesting way, by turning them into espers.

I'm not saying that is the direction that FFXIV should go, I'm just saying that it can be done without being KH-style fan-service.

I do like the Gilgamesh fight idea... Perhaps an evolving storyline with him where you face him at different levels. (eg 25 50-75-100)

I think we needs many trademark mobs, not just bosses, carried over. Enemies' ranks go up to 99 yet there's no behemoths or ochus or epic sandworm NM near Ul'Dah. I say we need high-end dungeon with friggin' adamantoises crawling there ready to quake parties to smithereens.

If they added a mob that was as big, or even bigger than FFXIII Adamantoise.. It'd be awesome, yet scary at the same time.

Oh, and maybe for a BCNM, Shadowlord from FFXI. :P Just a remastered battle, with re-orchestrated music. ^^ You enter this BCNM through the Black Shroud, and it takes you through Ronfaure with a Ronfaure remix. :D

Well I haven't quit, but I haven't been logging in either lol. I took my sweet time to get my DoM jobs to 50 and fill out my sub-jobs that I needed skills from.

People who didn't start when I did might still be working builds, but for the most part there is jack to do at 50... and even less to do that requires +2 gear and a kickass build.

I think my IQ just dropped 50 points reading this thread.

Its more than likely a satirical post to get the message across that content needs to start flowing in fast after the new battle system.

I cringe everytime on youtube I see "omggg this totally sounds liek kefka!!" in the comments of a FFXIV track..

Sephiroth belongs to FFVII and Kefka to FFVI.. none of them are FFXIV.. that's the bottom line.. Final Fantasy titles are best known for the fact that every story has nothing to do with the others..

I totally agree. These bosses belong in their own games. The FF series has done a great job with its villains (with the exception of XIII). The Shadowlord and Kam'lanaut where fantastic adversaries in FFXI, and I am excited to see what arises as our main opponent in FFXIV.

BTW: Golbez/Zemus/Zeromus > Sephiroth/Jenova and Garland/Chaos > All.

Agreed. Kefka is my favorite FF villain of all time (by far), but he has no business in FFXIV. The same is true for everyone's favorite silver-haired emo kid.

Honestly I would like to see some colision of worlds where we get to play most of the playable races from the FF games, bahangs, yukes, moogles etc..

They can pull it off, if done like they did in FFXII, where they had ex-death etc etc.

...people quit in mass from start not like last month or anything...lil late to be throwing out the doom n gloom the world is over...
If anything things have been on the rise again. All eyes on June and beyond (we have a new team; and one that listens; tons of people are otaku about ffxiv not just fans; tons will come back if they hear certain things have been fixed..and with it being ftp atm nothing to stop them from logging in to check it out. Tbh FFXIV still has a very large community lol...they just don't use the forums.
Many have come back; especially during the SoE blow out..and commented on how much better things are.

Ur idea belongs in some ftp Chinese game...The lets get crazy and bring in bla bla...Being the fan I am I would never want to see that. IDL...wha am I 12?

How is this "Dissida the MMO"? It's one special BCNM fight out of many, that has nothing to do with FFXIV and won't bleed into the world outside of the self-contained BCNM encounter. And it would only be one every 3 months or so.
