As a tank I'll tell you playing one is not the frustrating part. It's the other people in the group that make it frustrating. I mean the DPS that don't measure their aggro, don't even bother to gauge threat generated by the tank vs their own and adjust accordingly, and go balls to the wall almost as if their mission in life was to make me hate them for not watching their threat. That's not even mentioning the attitudes and all sorts of BS.
Yes, you also have the primadonas who will drop from the group if they so much get a hint of there being someone new or after the first wipe. My point still stands. Be a little nicer to the tank and heals (just show common sense and some respect, not kiss ass or anything like that) and you may see them to be more willing to queue up.
Personally I'm not even bothered by the mistakes, as we all make them and had to start somewhere. It's when people start going "omfg theze nubs suk" and whine and start drama that it becomes aggravating.
