Provoke works like this. It sets you a little higher than the highest person on the hate list so a Provoke followed by a Shield Lob/Tomahawk will get a good hold on hate followed by enmity generating combos.

Healing generates threat on all mobs so if by healing, the healer puts more aggro on the mobs than the tank has, the mob run to the healer. That's why you rotate your main aggro combo to keep everything attacking you.

PLD can pull Cure, Protect, Raise, Stone Skin from Conjuror and Fore Sight, Skull Sunder, Fracture, Blood Bath, Mercy Stroke from Marauder.

HHAHAH Ive played eq2 for years so I lol'd hard at this.

I was wondering as well what tanking was like in this game , and this thread pretty much answered it for me. In other MMO's ive always been the healer with a dps char as a substitute if one of my other friends was playing healer at the time. the only time ive ever been a tank class was in eq2 - and I was a berserker ^_^ Needless to say, I was usually the Off-Tank ( tho sometimes MT ), but it went really well. Never could get the hang of tanking in other games, but im thinking of giving it a try when im done with my BlackMaging =^_^=
