Being completely fair, if that happens, it usually is because they were in the book process, and it is very practical to save your Atma in the gearset so if you switch jobs you don't forget to reequip when you stumble on the right FATE, and they should have the right weapon with them as well, just going "Hey NIN I think you have the wrong weapon equipped" would solve all issues and not require you to leave, if they don't after that it's a whole other issue.

You could cite a Job Rock missing as something just as severe that can't be easily fixed while inside the dungeon.

Cute. I'm still gonna skip from every single instance of crystal tower raids and ARR dungeons until the Devs fix their broken Ilvl sync.

It's my free time, if certain parts of the game offer me no fun because they are utterly broken then any penalty I take, even week long bans seems to be the saner choice.

No need to be fair in that specific case. I didn't see it at first, but pulls were taking way too long, despite the aoe. Even when directly addressed, they didn't just switch to another weapon, but demanded we simply pull smaller. They had the whole Cryptlurker Aiming gear, just not the weapon. So average ilvl was high enough.

I love the idea that if someone gets pitted with an awful group, they'll be forced to sit there for the entire hour-90 minute timer or be unable to play the rest of the day/get an actual permanent mark on their record. That or just sit around and wait for your fellow party members to votekick you out, which wastes everyone's time. Not to mention the number of people who would not even attempt a daily anymore out of fear of a permanent mark. I will always support game design that will make things an even worse experience for everyone involved, let's make it happen people.

I said it because I made that mistake when I first made a Zodiac weapon a few times, the DRG one in this case, it wasn't as severe cuz I was still in post-HW, but still, I had it called to my attention a few times, and a few other times I noticed on my own after a pull or two, if they were still not responding when addressed, yeah you are right.

There is also the consistent issue of Job Rocks missing, it's wild they don't make them mandatory to que at this point, they are mandatory in PvP so what gives...

Clearly, the goal here is to ensure people never run Duty Roulettes solo but rather with a group of peers(I am not sure how the system plays with an entire pre-made party), assuming it usually functions. All those lower-level dungeons will end up even more empty than before, leaving longer queue timers for sprouts that, sadly, will need those lower-level places for the MSQ.

No kidding. Getting any VPR duty below level 80 is an outright curse. You don't even get a third button to press until level 55 for crying out loud.

You know that's the risk you're taking when you queue for roulette, yet you choose to queue for it anyway. Requiring you to take responsibility for your actions isn't 'not being fair'.
If you don't want to take the risk of it 'not being fun' then don't queue for roulette. Queue for 'fun' dungeons directly.

To be honest, a roulette is a roulette is a reason. If you can't or don't want to deal with a section of duties, then don't queue up for it.
