The more enemies the better the healers AOE’s scale as well
I think point for point above 9 enemies SCH does the most damage of any class in the game since it’s 180 potency per enemy with 0 drop off

Controversial question! I don't push w2w, but I'll go for it if the party is down.
IMO, if the tank (or healer) doesn't want to w2w then people can respect that or leave. You don't want to pressure a tank into it who doesn't know how to do it. You don't want a wipe. IMO, I'm willing to take a little longer for a successful run than to have wipes and people getting kicked.
OTOH, you have people who act like they're going to literally die if their dungeon takes one or two minutes longer than they think it should. And fast is nice, doing things more efficiently isn't bad. But people can take it way too far, chasing that quickest time.
It is not funny. It is bloody annoying how lots of ... players .... think pulling everything is a good idea.
And then they try to defend their behaviour here in the forums, being generally toxic about it.
That it is common doesn't mean it should be done.
Tank here. It doesn't. The tank's job does not change unless your healers are dead and you are playing as paladin.
The group decides how much to pull.It isn't complicated.
- if the dps aren't good enough then you die
- if the healer isn't good enough you die
- if the tank isn't good enough you die
I'd always w2w unless it obvious the group is lacking dps/heals. Then I'd simply just pull a little less. But that rarely happens since most people do their job and I'm such a good tank anyway. On the chance I am healing the tanks I've played with have always accommodated when my heals weren't the best.
Unless someone literally says "brb" or "need a sec" then there is no reason anyone should ever not pull. I'm glad when DPS or Healers pull in my tanking roulettes. Everyone is happy.
it does, but generally you run in to events of *sprout healer* *sprout tank* *mentor badge brd*
Bard pulls extra because "MuH W2W nOoBs"
tank dies
healer dies
DPS dies
BRD: "are you pushing buttons?" *quits instance*
everyone says its the party's call, but i never see a healer/dps ask the group if they want more before they make the selfish decision to pull more on their OWN.
let the new players learn, if playing with people trying to find their comfort zone bothers you so much, run with NPCs or FC mates.
granted i pull w2w when tanking because i know i can regardless of the healer or dps.. but that dont mean everyone can, from handicap to nerves, let people learn.
