Really hope that next Relic Step will be a complete grindfest again

Since we're not getting exploratory zone content then I hope the next step is a grind, but a grind that has multiple forms of content to do the grind in so I don't get bored.

Like use roulettes, the new deep dungeon content,etc, or do what they do with the moogle events, those are great examples of a fun grind cause they got a good portion of ways to do the grind.

I did have a lot of fun doing Eureka with my friends. Same for Bozja and Zadnor. So I can understand that perspective, but I dont mind just doing dailies and collecting tomestones either for a change.

Only relic weapons I liked doing was the Eureka ones. But I don't mind collecting tomestones for these relics.

I'd be fine with a huge time sink if they introduced them earlier to justify it. Like 6.1 earlier.

Xeno and Happy talked about this on Mogtalk just the other day. Their example was the old ARR relics and applying that progression trajectory to current day. Xeno's example being to release the relic in the .1 patch that comes a few weeks after Savage where it's at say, i615 or i620. This makes it a perfect side grade for tanks and healers who basically don't see loot in a lot of statics as you generally prioritize DPS. When the .5 patch launches and the tier is four months old, drop the next step pushing the relic to i630 or i635.

What's funny is they seemingly won't do this because of the perception raiders will be upset it's now "easier" to get a better weapon than Savage. Most raiders don't give a damn after four months. Those who did have long already cleared Savage. Unfortunately, the small subset of people who would get annoyed their "hard work" is being made worthless are who SE keeps catering to.

Most raiders probably wouldn't care if the thing released alongside savage at a slight item level deficit, being increased to equal after a month or so has passed. Feeling jilted because you're either not prioritized or just have bad luck is a common enough thing that nearly everybody can relate to it. All the serious raiders already have their clears by then anyway. It would be a nice little leg up for PF groups or those whose statics struggle.

real talk, I dont think you guys EVER actually believe what you say.

"Gee wilikers Batman, I sure was entertained spamming all those same alliance raids and dungeons repeatedly for my Shb relic!"

This content drought has officially gas lighted the community into thinking that grinds are legit fun and thats hilarious to me.

You will be forced to spam the Crystal Tower raids for your new shiny relic weapon upgrade again and you will love it!

My guess is the next relic will heavily involve the new deep dungeon, you know, to get people to play it.
