Two months into Shadowbringers, do you find yourself still using Trusts?

Thus far I've only used trusts for DPS jobs I don't want to play because I can AFK the trash and half-AFK the bosses.

Just recently started Shadowbringers and first dungeon, I tried Trusts, wiped 3 times on the final boss. Quit and waited for a regular party. Don't think I will go back to using Trusts.

It definitely counts for the challenge log. I can't speak for the achievement, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I've had zero issues with them on that boss, so I'd start to question if you were doing something wrong.

I've never wiped on a boss, but Urianger and Y'shtola did decide to randomly bite it on the last boss of Holminster once. I don't remember exactly what happened to Y'shtola, but Urianger just decided to treat the conal attack like an all you can eat buffet.

What were you wiping to? was it the aoe attack where he keeps rotating around?

I have run a ton of trust dungeons. Considering the insta queue for dps it off sets the length of time of a duty finder dungeon. I have never wiped. I had Alphi die one time in a holminster switch run and thankfully alisaie rezzed him.

For me the speed has been a mixed bag, I've had some really good parties with players that go much faster than a trust run, I've had more than a few take as long as a trust run, and I think I've actually had a couple that took longer than a trust run.

I was no where near the AOE. Had the boss down to like 1/8 of health left. Next I know we are dead and have to start over.

So the aoe actually happens in both the front and the back in that boss fight you have to be standing on his sides and moving when he does.

Yup. I'll log in and run a trust dungeon or two a day.
