Storm's Eye Is a Chore

That's part of learning your job. Figuring out when you can use certain skills. Seriously how about people actually try to learn how to optimize their play instead of complaining about every little thing that requires thought? Wonder why jobs are becoming 'homogenized'? Because instead of trying to learn you'll complain until they simplify it.

"Goring blade is a chore. It takes 3 GCDs to put up a 21 second maintenance effect."

Not that I agree with the complaints against Storm's Eye, but Goring Blade maintenance isn't really comparable.

"Continuation is a chore. You have to weave an extra button press between every step of the Gnashing Fang combo."

Eye is completely fine in single target. It sucks in aoe, but that should be fixed by changing Mythril Tempest instead.

Every single one of your comments has been a contradiction of the last. Is it too easy and braindead, or is it too difficult and a chore to maintain? It can't be both. Yet you've used many contradicting adjectives to describe it so far.

Storm's Eye is part of our rotation. Are you implying that maintaining the WAR rotation is a chore? As if maintaining the rotation for any other job isn't?

I'm in shock there's people complaining about it, not all Tank has their Damage Buff Automatic and Infinite by doing a Rotation like WAR does ( which already is -1 skill/mechanic to do in comparison to other Tanks ), so is that a issue to use Storm Eye combo to keep your buff always up?, as PLD for example you must to do the same thing for Goring Blade combo to keep your DoT always up ( instead Damage buff as WAR, but their combos works equally without difference ).

I don't see any issue on that, WAR was my favorite Tank and now it's the most boring and simple to play, the smaller Skill Kit and straightfoward since they lost most of their skills, mechanics and Wrath Stacks, want to make WAR even boring and automatic than already is taking away some variation in their combo forcing them to not use Storm Eye combo as they do?.

There is barely a 'rotation' to begin with. If eye 'gets in the way of war rotation' what is it in the way of? Doing more path? Doin IR which can literally be done between any gcd because combos now last more than 10 seconds so you can actually just drop what your doing, IR and continue like nothing happened?

Wars 'rotation' is path spam forever. Ir whenever its up. Use upheavel on the nose.

The only things with ANY influence on the rotation period are infuriate/chaos actions. Eye just replaces 1 patch gcd every 30 sec.

There is nothing to get in the way of. Everything war can do can essentially be done independently of everything else. IR between ANY gcd. Upheaval between ANY gcd. Chaos between ANY gcd except during IR. Path for everything else.

Good lord this job already has nothing to do and the single solitary item that needs upkeep is to much? I really wish these players had to play during 2 zerk windows with gauge buildup and actual punishing gameplay. 1 stinking buff is just asking to much of people now? Oy.

Eh, it is a chore because of its interaction with aoe overpower and mythril tempest. Otherwise its fine.

Just make mythril tempest apply eye.

Why did Samurai have both its buffs increased to 40 seconds? What about Dragoons who complained about Disembowel until that was brought back up to 30 seconds? There is nothing "fun" about maintaining Storm's Eye. Increasing it to 40 seconds isn't going to make Warrior any more simplistic than it already is.

Is it a massive loss? Doesn't feel good fighting without eye buff on. Sometimes i do what u mentioned, which is just aoe and forget about eye because IT IS A CHORE to put it back on then aoe.
