What? Why has no one tried helping Original Post yet?
Use party finder, set it to undersized, slap "bonus" in the description and watch your queue's go from a ticking timer to a full party!
Queue'ing story content is not the way to go as you have seen. Use party finder every chance you can. Going undersized and having bonus in the description is a sure fire win! -

It's prettymuch mandatory if you want to use DF and don't want the overlong queue times that the original poster talked about encountering. -

I normally do MSQs as a healer or a tank so I never had any problems with queue times. I would recommend finding someone, friend, FC or whatever who can party with you and queue up as a tank or a healer.
