It wont end (thats what permanent means), but that doesnt mean that we wont get other crossover events in the future.

We don't die to our own. Other people screwing them up, on the other hand... Do you know how many times I've survived botched mechanics with single/double digit HP while being surrounded by corpses?

Don't think it last long before they replace it. My guess behemoth hunt will replace it.

I get that you want it to go away, but it's not going to. It's going to be just as permanent as Titan EX.

I'm pretty sure it will just like the lightning crossover event did from the past.

It ain't going anywhere. The trial will always be available, just like how all other trials have been. Lightning event etc. were all FATE based.

Also the MH collab stuff actually requires a lot of effort to get to (i.e. owning SB, getting to lvl 70, reaching the ilvl requirement etc), so players need the time to get there to enjoy the content to begin with. The normal event stuff (FATEs, mini quests etc) we get is generally available to everyone with the base game (no expacs required) and level needed to do them is never that high either so it's generally easier to have them for a limited time and then repeat again a year later.

It's nice that MH will have a permanent status through the use of trials, it sets it up for a long legacy (whether players like it or not).
