Black Mage Skill Merge Scathe=transpose?

I like this idea but I would also like to see a visual rework of the skill more than anything. Its visual is underwhelming...but that is just my opinion. On thread topic, I do use scathe if I need to move and have no other procs or abilities to use to support my movement aside from AM. I always want to damage the enemy in some form or another and scather helps me sometimes.

Scathe is just a skill that I'll use for these reasons:

1. Is moving, but doesn't have Swiftcast / Triplecast / Firestarter / Thundercloud ready.
2. Finish off a low-HP mob at 1-3% HP after a cast.

The effect's subtlety is good. Because Scathe is not meant to be a big burst or something, just a flick.

And no, don't merge with Transpose. The skills are fine as they are.

1-3% is the "execute" that I referred to earlier. Also, I'd like to see more out of enhanced scathe. Percent chance for double damage or critical damage on BLM's weakest skill (lol?) is pointless.

I mean, it's 120p on average. Woo!

Speaking of executes, I'd like Death as one akin to Assassinate and such. Maybe with the added flair of killing overworld mobs instantly. Not like they take more than one F4 when they're under 20% anyway.

We already reached the conclusion that this probably would not work earlier in the thread. In order for transpose to work in this case you would need a target and transpose is most valuable when there is no target to continue a state of astral/umbral.

I really think scathe increasing duration by 5 is a great idea, people wont be so worried about trying to finish a spell before dodging and get hit instead. Why would you if you can run and scathe instantly for a 5 second gain on astral/umbral then continue where you left off? Best rotation saver and blm certainly needs one for high motion fights.

Here's what I'd like to see: for Transpose to be automatic if Enochian is active. As in, if you're about to run out of AF/UI, you swap to one stack of the opposite instead. Saves you a bunch of hotkey spam in dungeons.

I always found it kind of a letdown in this game, when they take skills that were epic turbo-atomic lazer-rays of death and suffering in previous FFs (i.e. Scathe in FFXII) and make them little love taps in FFXIV.
