get rid of leve Allowances

Not really a fan of entirely getting rid of them, but increasing the amount of allowances every 12 hours would be nice (4 instead of 3), or maybe an FC buff to increase the amount of allowances for the next X days, where X depends on the amount of seals invested. (max. 7 days)

To clarify, the exp bonus is actually based on how much Quality you've built up using crafting skills on that item. Note that using HQ materials to have a higher starting Quality does not increase exp gain, only the Quality gained during the crafting process increases the exp.

They do. It's called daily roulettes.

Running dungeons for experience outside of roulettes is akin to crafting items to gain crafting experience.

From my 70-2 star omnicrafter friend:

Back when the game was cap at 50, all I did was craft, so a lot of the leves was gated from me and I did it the old way of simply grinding for them. (A lot of crafting leves are gated behind unlocking them with some battle class, something I was unable to do then) This was all back before the first EXP buff for gathering. I was able to level the 8 crafters faster then the 2 gathering classes who got levels simply for gathering materials for the crafting jobs. I made things to sell, I got everything to 50 before those buffs took place. I was making stuff to sell plus making my own GC turn ins to level.

Point is, the game makes it easy for you to level crafting and gathering if you put any kind of effort into it. The leve allowances are there for people that have less time per day, so they are not completely shut out if they want to put in effort but can't because time per day is limited. The hardcore crafters got all 70 way before people depending on leves to level, sure they may of used 100 to boost them a bit, but they did not wait around for them to regenerate. If you where trying since SB released to level your crafts from 60 to 70, it would be very possible to achieve that by now with leves only. Now you are stuck at 70 for 2 years.

The leve system is not gating, it is there to help people with less time per day to do things, the system is fine, please put more effort into something before something needs a change.

As for your gated comment on combat, do you even play this game? that is exactly how it works for tomestones, daily bonuses for exp, daily bonuses for tomestones, weekly caps for gear, weekly caps for tomestones all the way back since 2.0 release (well maybe, I do not know when they started that. I was not paying attention to combat content most of 2.0) till now. So yes there is artificial gating for combat exp gains and gear progression at max level, and that gating is worse then the leve system. (If you consider leves gating, I really don't, it is a boost to those that do not have much play time per day)

Not needed, no, it is easy as is. People are already all 70 off them, and you are suck at that level for 2 years now. If you really want to suggest leveling crafting is too slow, I think it is too fast. I have issues getting max level within a week of an expansion that is supposed to last around 2 years.

Daily grand company turn ins and Ixal dailys work really good. At level 50 (or51 can't remember anymore) you can do the moogle quests which grand some nice exp too.
Other than that try to craft all items in the crafting log up to about level 30 because you get extra exp for crafting an item the first time.
Back then I leveld 4 crafters from 1 to 50 without any leves because I didn't know about the amount of exp they grant lol.

There is no easy way to get all of them to max level and as much as I hated to wait for my leves to recover I don't think removing the limit is a good idea. I'm all up for an increasd gain every 12 hours though.

Can do it at 50 but to someone power leveling, it may be best to wait to 52 as you do other things if you want the smallest gil sink possible. This is because you can do the moogle quests in level 1 gear while having a 52 HQ tool. It is just a way of dealing with less item upgrades... To really be most efficient, you level BSM though other means till 52, (other being 50 ofc) then your BSM can do the moogle quests then change jobs to whatever you want exp on when you go to turn them in. Why BSM? cheapest crystal combo that you use to craft for the quests.

As I've just hit the stupid sand portion of the Anima grind, I'd agree; get rid of the limit...
100 leves burned and I got a grand total of 6 sand. I did not want this to have to go on the back-burner... :-(

You can get sands with poetics, 450 > 2 sands.

What's wrong with Ixal dailies? At low levels I'm getting 1-2 levels per day for free and collecting shards.

After that you also HQ your own crafting gear/food with all your crafting jobs. That more exp there (HQ exp + the bonus exp from doing each recipe for the first time).

Then there's GC turn-ins.

Finally leve quests. You should look for the best exp/leve you can get (considering HQ gives you double). Usually the best ones require delivery but if you are lacking in leves, you may as well do the delivery ones with HQ goods. That's some pretty decent exp right there.

If you did ALL that and still need more exp... well maybe you could try leveling a combat class or something else. Everything in this game slows down once you do hit the daily/weekly quotas.

I'm a fan of the allowances, honestly.

is she only doing leves, or also GC deliverie and Ixal dailies?
Is she only doing the "3 in 1" leves or every leve? (she should try to do only the "3 in 1" leves, where she can do the leve 3 times before it is finished)
Is she using food and exp scrolls?
Is she trying to get the quality high during crafting for better exp?
Is she doing the weekly challenge log entry for crafts?

Sorry, but this is so 3.x like
Now with 4.0, the best to get sand are poetics or red scripts (both unlimited and easy to gain)
