Thank you mods, for moving this thread to the proper forum. As for the PGL changes, I'm liking what I see so far. It gives PGL a different playstyle than the other classes, and that increases variety.

Oh crap, really? I saw that they weren't listed but I thought that was because they weren't really learned at an actual level... definitely wouldn't be a fan of losing those.
I think it's more the concept of potentially needing ethers for longer fights where as something like Lancer or Marauder doesn't need them to continue to perform to the best of their ability. I have no problem with it personally because I'll probably just end up making my own but I'm sure others do.
We still don't know how much MP will regenerate new PGL abilities and combo.
Anyway, new PGL concept looks interesting for me.
Why not have pots for longer fights?
I can understand if we had to use pots for solo content.
When I think back to XI and older FF games I can't recall
a single boss fight where you didn't have to use pots and
downs.
People already use food for fights, even though the current
foods are likely offering little to no improvements.
With re-balancing I say why not for those long fights.
