Our characters having actual voiceovers during MSQ cutscenes would be nice

I am almost ignorant how I react in the main story, for I pay all the attention to the charming NPC. Branch options may make NPC's response a little different but you see, it changes nothing as result...Considering even my retainer has more character styles than I do, I decide to call myself "Mailman of Light" or "Camera of Light".

That's my issue right there. The lack of free will, or in better words, options, even if they lead to one result in the end, really takes the individuality away.

I've actually been thinking that too. Maybe the voices you pick out in CC can speak the lines you choose when your character "talks".

That's a lot of voice actors to hire.

If say like hire on a soft speaking and deep speaking male and let us choose

My lalafell damn well better not sound like a Roegadyn. That's at least four voice actors for the main character alone.

Whenever your character is talking and it's not pre-made dialogue, insert your own. However some people don't have the power of imagination

I would like to know where my character is from. From the opening cutscenes, I gather that I am not from Eorzea.

Been thinking this myself since day 1, would be nice to know where our chars came from.

@ OP, I actually greatly dislike how our chars are just mute 99% of the time and our greatest ability is 'The nod of Light' because damn, all we do is nod. I was glad to see we got at least a few options for 'dialogue' in Heavensward, but rather upset when, for example, I chose the '...' option when talking to Alphi about Estinien and he still got super hype over saving him; meanwhile all I could do was stare at the screen and go 'that is NOT what he said!' /shrug

Having our characters voiced would be amazing and I'd personally love that, though I can't say I see it happening. At least having a few more options for dialogue would be nice; it's rather strange to be the 'legend' everyone talks about and yet you can't do / say anything other than 'Yes sir! I'll continue being everyone's delivery boy, risk my life, barely eat, possibly not sleep, get maybe 5 minutes for myself when anyone even some teenage kid decides it, and tend to everyone's problems because saying no isn't an option~! \o/' (though I get the msq won't progress if we say no but you know...)
