Me too! It's pretty much a necessity on those or you waste too much time.

DPS macros are bad if you're going to try to automate your entire rotation, yes. But if you use it to weave in buffs (that you would be doing anyways), or activate situational/conditional skills (i.e. Assassinate/Misery's End/Heartbreak) then you're generally not suffering any kind of notable losses whatsoever.
Again, that's little more than a misconception blown out of proportion by a few players who once tried to autopilot their dps, and while they were wrong to do that, you are wrong to assume any and all macros are bad.
teleports are not dps skills. but the macro for the oGCDs is terrible.
Macros can't queue, oGCD or on. That's why they're terrible to use for battle abilities, primarily.
and you can't fit 3 oGCD skills in between 2 GCDs without massive clipping, therefore it is bad.
Teleport and Shukuchi are no DPS Skills. If you combine your DPS Skills and Buffs in Macros you will lose Time and it will happen pretty often that one of these things doesn't really work. You will always be faster without Macros in these Cases if you can play your Class right and if you are able to use your Keybinds properly.
I play controller. I don't think I have the luxury of keybinds. Besides in my experience the 3 Ogcd's are all abysmally weak even when they do Crit. Probably because Ninja is more a support DPS mainly through Trick Attack and I guess Dancing Edge. Enmity Control is cool I guess. Unfortunately I lack the finger reflexes to pop the buffs in sync with all the attacks so I'll never be a top level Ninja nor do I aspire to be one. I do commend those who can pull it off though.
The issue of Ninja's button bloat on controller can be mitigated a bit with without resorting to macroing oGCDs. My current method:
Weapon drawn cross bar:

Basically when I draw my weapon, this is what displays. All of my important oGCDs are visible to me right away. The most important tidbit is the hotbar I used above the cross bar. At the cost of things looking weird, I now have a way to see what other skills I currently can't see without pressing button combinations come off of cooldown. The only reason I have DwaD there only, is because a good chunk of my cooldowns pretty much have to line up with each other(dwad, mug, dualith) so there isn't much of a point to stuff them all on that hotbar. Shadewalker is there if i'm stuck with a bad tank for a while. Goad isn't there because not many people run out of TP in situations where it matters.

Skills that don't need heavy visual babysitting. I also have a <t> macro'd Shukuchi.

Now this is why I said can only be mitigated "a bit". Taking in my "reminder hotbar" method, I still don't have space to put Wasp venom(although I'm considering dropping Shade Shift...) but things are still very manageable.
tl;dr: get creative, it's not that bad
Really? Everything I've read says it doesn't double the damage because combo bonuses only apply once. Say, you use Duality for Aeolian Edge from behind during a combo you get one attack at 320 potency, the Duality attack will only hit for 100 potency (no combo bonus). Or is the tooltip just poorly worded?
