It seems like they misunderstood what people meant when they talk about worrying about the Anima and things becoming obsolete. They're saying that they're deliberately making it so that the Anima Weapon will never surpass end-game Raid Content...but what people are worried about is that as soon as the next update hits, the Relic that they spent mindless hours and millions of gil on will be instantly rendered obsolete; not by end-game raid content, but just by the moderately hard content they add to lead up to such.
Honestly, it seems like they're practically saying "Don't bother with Anima; just do End-Game Raids."
With that kind of mentality, what's even the point of adding them? They don't seem to realize that as much "Time" as it takes to get them, people will be able to get an equal or superior weapon just by waiting to do easy content in the next update...
Their statements about adjusting the future updates, in 3.25/3.3 and beyond, seem to suggest they do plan to address these worries...still sucks for now, but hopefully the next stage of advancement will feel more balanced out for everyone.
