The Scions weren't made to look like they're dead to begin with.

Ysale's body got destroyed yes... however as an echo user I doubt she is dead.

Recalling the Sahagin priest back from 2.2 (I think) we know that when the body of an echo user dies, it can inhabit the body of another... Who knows we may see Ysale again...but it won't be her body.

There it is. The minor detail that's gonna get her written back to life.

Then if they ever make old primal repeats with harder difficult, who gonna be Shiva then? and I think the look should be different between pure-aether form and human-fusion form.

the scions were never seen as dead.
only portrayed fighting to the last.

only yshtola and thancred seemed to be buried by ruins. but was apparently teleported away by yhstola.

nanamo's conclusion on the other hand really pissed me off :V
