Wouldn't surprise me if Time Mage was an NPC only job, mostly used for unique badassery and plot purposes. But Astrologian, while they have "Space" magic, remind me more of like... Ogre Battle. Tarot cards that have unique powers. Each spell pulls a particular tarot card from the deck, mixed with a little of the wielders personal power, to create its effects. I'm hoping there's a kind of gamble spell where you yank out a random card and it has some kind of effect, a buff/debuff/magic attack/heal.
We need less DPS classes, more Healers and Tanks with unique gimmicks that actually attract people to the roles. The responsibility/awareness issues are only one half of the problem; when you have MRD and PLD as your only choices for instance it's hard to have a gimmick that actually attracts peeps.
It's not going to matter when people get belittled over and over for one/simple mistake(s). Why do you think normal headed tanks and healers make fun of each other and DPS players? The new healer and tank class will be played with for a while, but give it a few months and we'll be back at the lack of healer and tanks in the DF. Everyone flocks to DPS for MAD DEEPS and the fact that they don't have to bear any resonposiblity to the party; trials like Ultros and the Steps of Faith have such a high failure rate because asking a typical DPS player to do something besides spamming their rotations somehow causes a brain fart.
