We do it in 40-ish minutes. :O Wish it was more... :< But as someone else here said, there should/could be some checkpoint system.
would be pretty cool if they make coil 6-9 to a 120 min instance with a loot lockout of 1 piece per week like syrcus tower
At the same time that would encourage structured raiding guilds to do their thing.
Of course, with the way duties were designed this isn't really possible, which is a shame. You can't be "saved" to an instance for the week like you would be in WoW, with a raid ID assigned to anyone that was "saved" in the instance with you.
Does not undo the fact that the ambience of CT and ST feels more like a raid to those of us who have played and raided other MMOs.
They could make the loading zone look like a pathway though. Coil backgrounds are beautiful but I'm never sure where I'm supposed to be.
I think it hasn't been mentioned either that the fatigue of such instances would eventually get to people. It's not a thing for people who are with groups who can easily farm T6-T9 but people learning the content or are maybe not solid on one fight vs the others will have problems with feeling drained.
The fatigue of the battles can wear people down and make them unable to progress in later battles because of sloppiness. Having separate instances is better to get that 5 minute breather/repair/get food/go pee.
Plus, look at ST. People get bored a half hour into content. People go afk for trash pulls and such.
Also Coils requires people to change jobs in need be for party makesups as they move through.
Actually you can, clear trash and leave the turn, then come back another day and the trash will still be clear, Look at how peeps asked for some to take them into coil turn 1 past ADS and trash, so instance ID progression saving is possible.
Just working on progression proves that, spend time working on a boss, stop, have another crack another day (before reset of course) trash is clear, shortcut is open.
All stuff you clear upto that would still be clear when you re-enter the next time (before reset).
