Considering I'm ss speckled and my comments where more against det, I don't know why you atked me for ss. It counts procs on percentage not a proc in relation to your rotation and how it's going to effect your Astral fire/umbra ice phase in the current fight. I use those guides as a referance and then go do test. The extra piety gives you spell flexibility that a calculator can not test. If you want to try it go try it. If not don't, but never piety is a bad answer if you have never done it yourself. I don't have the time to go do 1000 coil runs while locked out to provide a good sample. In fact since I got my new job I barely have time to play.

Yeah, not a big fan of how they did the stat upgrade myself. Even flipping to a CRIT build is prohibitively expensive on my Server due to a certain FC buying all materia below the price they want it at. DET IV used to be 300k... Now it is between 750k-1M thanks to them, similar increases have happened to CRIT and Parry. So far SSPD is still cheap thankfully (75-90k).

Ouch, yeah I had to settle with adding Acc to my Smn weapon, but with my Blm one I don't wanna flub it up since I plan to focus on Blm and only still play Smn since I may as well until I get my Blm Novus to work on. I was planning on trying to spirit bond gear and hope to get all the Det materia I would need for Rank 4 and sell everything else that I wouldn't need to further get more gear to spiritbond.

LOL, just noticed you and I are both on Famfrit. I agree with the spiritbonding thing, as that really does seem to be the only way to get DET IVs for us. Thank you TI.

But that's a complaint best left on Famfrit lol. Yeah, unlike my Smn relic, I'm much more motivated and determined to make my Stardust Rod the best I can, even if it will never see any raid use lol. -

PIE is not helping appreciably until you can hit 6 fire rotation which isn't even really an increase given that you have to stick a lot of PIE on both your weapon and other melded slots. If you want to make justifications for making a budget Nexus/Novus, that's fine. But don't act like it isn't exactly what it is: budget and not optimal. -

I'll take a 46ss, 23det, 8crit Nexus over what you have anyday though. I still don't see why you choose piety as the stat to cheap out on when you could have easily melded it with crit.

Not everyone can swap out i110 pieces, and rather than use i100 or i90 gear I put 12 acc on my novus. I can go back and easily replace it with more Det and Crit if I really wanted, but having the extra ACC leaves you open to more options for food. If for example you really needed that 6 PIE you could try Pineapple Ponzecakes (I hope the OP read that). Plus, me being i110 it would be a dick move rolling on any additional HA pieces unless I need even more ACC for my SMN (I kite t7 but I haven't cleared). Then I could use the option to swap out a body piece, but I'd still be under 500 ACC on my BLM.Quote:
