*sigh* Almost feel like giving up on this game

People mentioned that doing fates solo has better drop rates then with a party including choco.

I thought it was just me but I noticed this trend too when doing mine. I could spend a good few hours to an entire day in party/with choco and not get one but if I just solo it I'll get one usually in two hours or so, less if I'm lucky.

Unless this alters the chance from 1/410,000 to 1/410 I don't think it would have made much of a difference.

I didn't make this thread to complain about atmas, it was more of me just trying to get a pity party started to make myself feel better. Now feel worse because apparently I'm one of the worst cases. So lame.

Regrettably, Xande doesn't drop Sands of Time. He drops Unidentified Allagan Tomestones, a few CT2 gear pieces, Oil of Time (for Jewelry only), Wind-Up Onion Knight, and the Throne Gem.

I got an entire set of atmas in a week of casual farming with my choco or in parties with other people.

On the bright side, it gives you a lot of chances to finish your hunt dailies. Sorry, just trying to find a half full glass for you.

Thanks, but I haven't experienced hunts at all. Between trying to grind up pvp rank, keeping up with beastman dailies as best I can, roulettes, and atmas, there just isn't enough time in the day to explore any of the new content. All I do everyday is login, roulettes/dailies, and atma grind. I figure once my atma is out of the way, I can play the rest of the game. I've been telling myself that for...I can't remember how long. Months.
