is this the quest where you have to go through black shroud to the sylph settlement? Because if so from my recolection you have a call function where you call your fellow and she/he runs towards you

all u gotta do is that call command to make him come to you.

Now your bed must punish your companion.... in you.

You know ... the only reason this companion is there is to move the instance area around you. SE can create Instanced Areas with their engine but they cannot move them with a character and that is the only reason this stupid NPC got invented.
