Yes it's best not to have new people learn how to deal with mechanics in a raid and pay attention to their surroundings.
"Intentionally Uncooperative" in my mind can count as harassment, you don't know if they're trolling or not, so no new category required imo.
Not everyone gets eruptions, it hits a few folks at random, if you are a blm brd or smn you can still damage while moving, if you are one of those ranged dps that can't figure out how to still do damage while moving then well maybe you do need someone to hold your hand and stun every eruption for you.
hm .... if it was a newbie group, how are they supposed to know not to use stuns ?
was in one party yesterday and when i got stun resist on first eruption i stopped to care ...
and really ... there is only one eruption which should be stunned for the ease, and thats the one right before "super plumes"
I joined a group over the weekend where two people were there just to get the mapping achievement, and ran past all the mobs trying to find out which area(s) they needed to explore.
I fully support an option that let's us kick people who willfully obstruct the completion of a run.

I understand being bored and playing Devil's advocate, but what?
The only DPS check in Ifrit is the nail phase. It's must better for the control of the fight to stun eruptions and have a controlled, predictable radiant plume moment pattern. You can't stun all the eruptions in the fight because of his stun resistance anyway. But not trying at all because it'll lower group DPS is bs.
Another thing to mention, stunning helps raise the LB bar quick in case DPS aren't strong enough to kill nails.
