Too many poor DPS

I don't really agree that there aren't any DPS checks before Titan HM, just of the top of my head I can think of The Ultima Weapon in Praetorium (countdown phase) Demon Wall and Ifrit HM's Nails. Then there are the Story mode versions of both Ifrit and Titan. All of those are challenging to a player who is new to the instance.

In all honesty, those DPS checks are either very easy to pass or extremely cheesable (Damage Limit Breaks will more often than not completely nullify DPS races until Titan Hard), which gives very little reason to improve for a lot of DPS. At least I've yet to see any failure regarding your examples so far, unless everyone is either AFK or the party completely ignores hitting the Infernal Nail. :p

I agree, ddint feel weak until I completed the main storyline and tried to kill a single nail on Ifrit HM - Im full int and wasnt doing much at all

Agreed. Demon Wall tests your ability to do moderate damage while dodging; story Ifrit is doable with a dead dps (if I'm not mistaken); I didn't even realize Ultima Weapon *had* a dps check, it's so light; Ifrit Hard's nails are done with 1-2 LBs; and the sisters in Garuda Hard are almost certainly going to die as long as no player dies first.

Compare that with Titan Hard, where if any of the DPS isn't pulling their weight, has weakness, or has DET down from the gaols, there's a good chance you won't be clearing the heart. Even then, building LB3 early can cover for a lot of weakness in this phase. . .

Then some people excel at being bad. Should i introduce you to the Paladin i had in Copperbell Hard the other night who tanked the entire run with *just* RoH -> Flash -> RoH -> Flash, not even comboing the Fast/Savage?

Titans DPS check is fine, Having Garuda's weapon or Ifrits is fine for this. Problem is, its easy to be carried in an Ifrit and Garuda DF, not so much in Titan. Which is why the 'roadblock' exists as it were. a full party as intended by the DF (2/2/4) is easily doable, but the DPS must be fully aware of not only their own rotations, but their surroundings. Losing one to an early Weight can be fatal without the extra cushioning provided by a fifth DPS.

Good Gawd, you guys are freaking me out, half the time I read that things are super hard and they end up being super easy.
That being said my main concern was the Demon Wall, I haven't done Titan Hard Mode, but if it's really that much worse than the Demon Wall, I might as well just jump off the edge and end it quickly.
Ran to the Demon wall twice and couldn't get through (mainly cause the black or the white mage kept falling off), ran with a 3rd group and got through the second time cause the black mage LB'd the bees, so I dunno what you guys did that made that fight easy, but our group certainly wasn't doing it. :(

In short, I'd be nice if people didn't exaggerate :/

I agree though I'm a dp myself but if been trying for Titan for days and always fail because of other dps failing or not enough dp to kill heart was very aggravating .. But like it's said Titan is a huge dp check

Radxen it's true the demon wall was a bitch but the issue I had was I was under geared going into it and didn't know the floor patter
And I think that's the first dp check or all class check before Titan if you can't pass the demon wall your not ready for more it's the truth and i am not ashamed I found that out hard way lol

Its not exaggeration, its perception. For me, the hardest part of Demon Wall was finding his Flank zone.
To make Demon Wall easy, all you must do is focus and kill the bees as soon as they spawn, while doing the Center-Side-Repel Dance. Focus the Wall to make sure you see Repel is coming.

For Titan HM, don't stand in Weight of the land. Hardest part of the fight is learning the Bombs. But just remember the key rule to Bombs, they explode in the order they were dropped, First to Fall, First to Blow.

See that's the first post I see saying this is what do, just know the rotations of the fight and it's easy. No one says that, all I see is blah blah, so hard for dps, people falling off the edge, get all your relics out or you'll fail. x_x
